600pt fun list

So I played a few small fun games with a couple of friends last night and this list worked really well for me. I tabled an IG army in 2 turns and beat a vanilla marine army with relative ease.

This is what I used:

1 x haemonculus w/ liquifier

4x Trueborn w/ 4 blasters in a venom w/ dual cannons

5x wyches w/ hydra gauntlets & haywire grenades in a venom w/ dual cannons

5x wyches w/ hydra gauntlets & haywire grenades in a venom w/ dual cannons

1x Voidraven bomber - naked

Slightly over 600 pts iirc.


I really enjoyed playing this list, I usually play much bigger games - 1850-2500 games but this was a fun change, and it worked really well!

The haemonculus wiped out an entire assault marine squad and a tactical squad by itself thanks to an AP roll of 2 and them trying to assault him. Fools!

I've never used a voidraven bomber was it any good?

is it better or worse than the razorwing?

Well you can kit it out with missiles and it's the same as the razorwing but with stronger lances, it is however a fair bit more expensive.

I particularly like the bomb for splatting marines and terminators and those str 9 void lances can make all the difference sometimes.
