| It was all done for last weekend, except the Inf platoon which went with unfinished figs - and caused a problem for the team - unfinished models are a no-no at OFCC apparently. This week has been a washout due to extra hours at work and fighting the nasty bug I caught at OFCC - it makes me super tired, but stops me sleeping so I'm knackered but can't recharge. Now I have to get the last few things done by next weekend, and Astro has asked me to get 2 tables worth of terrain ready so I have to finish a few pieces of that too - another busy week! | |

| Very nice indeed. They look nice as a squad, but even better in large numbers!

| You have there 2 of the 3 veteran squads and the 30 man blob squad - too bad 6th has completely nerfed this army though, so it's going back on the shelf for now. | |

| I really don't like any of this, mostly because I know its going to land on my head one at some future games night! I hate just one Thudd Gun, but three ...... ?
Beautiful as always, SirTainly. The guns, the Trojan, and even that miserable missile launcher. I know they will all get a top-notch paint job and look great on the green felt.
That Santa is terrific, you have to bring him in-person this Friday night!

| I realise this thread is a bit behind the times now, but since I've been packing up my stuff to move back to the UK I thought I'd take some photos of my recent projects and try and bring my online presence up to date before I go offline during the move (oh and my parents internet sucks so who knows what I'll be able to use there!) Here's the start on my Usurper SPG, which counts-as a Basilisk Some chassis to make Tarantuals or Sabre platforms, they can be fitted with regular GW turrets from Land Raiders, Razorbacks, Whirlwinds or Defilers, so the weapons options are great. Tech Priest, needs a load more work A Gore Mage (Primaris Psyker counts-as) Ratling Snipers I wanted something more than just snipers, so I made a sort of clandestine ops squad, which I figured were alien mercenaries. Obviously this is something away from canon, but it seems ok to my way of thinking. The first three are just the Skaven jezzails, with shortened gun barrels: The second three are obviously made from the shield bearers that come with the jezzail guys, but I've modified each into something more spec ops. The first one has a silenced pistol, made from a Zinge Industries gun with a piece of plastic rod added for the silencer. The second is carrying once of those glass carriers like they use in the movies to remove the piece of window that they then shoot through to assassinate someone. I've even cut a circle of clear plastic to be the glass, you can see it sitting on his base, and I'll add that once he's been painted. The last guy was a bit of a puzzle, but I thought some kind of camera on a stick for seeing over obstacles might be useful..we'll see! | |

| Great use of skaven parts! The jezzails are cool even when they lose their pair ^^ | |

| Cool models and conversions (at least I think they are?).
I don't recognize half of the models, but the tech priests is my favorite here. Nice work!

| Thanks, well if it helps, the halftracks are a 1/32 scale model from Testors/Newray with a bit of plasticard work and GW bits added.
The Atlas is a scratchbuilt hull, originally built by Tinners over on Warseer and then modified and completed by me.
The Sabres are a mixture of GW Razorback roofs, IG Heavy Bolters, GW and PP bases, plasticard and toy car wheels.
Pater Sin is an Empire flagellant with a Zinge pistol, the midgets are all from Trollforged.
The Tarellians are all Hasslefree Goloths.
The tech priest is a Chaos Sorceror with Wood Elf head, Bitspudlo Servo arm and Greenstuff.
The gun crew are Chaos Marauders with Maxmini heads
The Nebelwerfers are Havoc Launchers, plastic section and wheels from 1/72 model kits.

| Cool, I hope to see more of your work and conversions. Keep an eye out here on the Painting and Modelling section, a new competition will be here soon that I think you'll fit right in | |

| Finally had a day for doing some model making! Started on my second squadron of AT-70s (Leman Russes) with an Anarchist Pattern variant... Chimera sides, Anarchy Models hull, Kromlech turret (with, to be added, Shapeways torso, Victoria Lamb minis arms and a GW head for the commander plus some plasticcard work and some stowage). | |
