| It's just zombie parts pushed into milliputt with a wet dice pushed into the top and removed. I think I used the equivalent of 16 full zombies to make 6 markers. | |

| Gorgeous Archon model Garfy, great pose and nicely detailed!
The Raider passengers certainly have many other possibilities, they are a great addition.

| Just saw the Archon on Dakka, can't believe I missed it here! I was going to leave this comment there, but thought it would be better suited here instead She is brilliantly painted, the cape is just superb and the entire model screams "Archon" to me But, and I feel terrible about commenting when you are miles above me in ability ( ) but I have two things bugging me a little about the model. First, the "Skulls on a Rope" at the front looks a touch unnatural hanging straight down when the rest of the model is so full of motion. The other is the right foot...first thing I noticed was how flat it was. I've been playing with turning Raider crew into foot soldiers myself, and I've been cutting a tiny wedge out of the base of the foot and bending it down, so it has a more natural shape to it. Its a minor quibble at best, just seems a shame given how awesome the model is Your pain tokens still make me feel ill though | |

| Yeah, I only noticed the skulls thanks to the foot so its all good And yes, husk-blade on a stick is looking the goods as well. Is the blade a finecast or metal one? | |

| I have converted most of my crew over to regular warriors.
I put a large rock or build up under the raised foot and a build up the support behind the other foot so it has some surface area to stick to. It works really well and no one has noticed yet.
Just a thought for using crew men.
I also have taken the other raider crewman and cut the foot off and repositioned it. it does a bit of filing to get it just right, but I use them for splinter cannon armed warriors and the pose is pretty decent.

| Amazing! Simple yet convincing color scheme. Very nice indeed! May I ask how you did the base? Those rock thingies, I've been trying to make some of those for my bases, but I can't seem to find material for that. Is it cork? | |

It has a nice sharp jagged look to it, especially when mounted at the angles I've done it. They remind me of rock like blades pushed out of the ground. You can get slate from Garden Centres.

| I've been looking forward to you doing a Razorwing. I will be using yours and GARs vehicles as templates for highlighting when airbrushing, good work. | |

| OK, so now that I have had a chance to recover from the initial awesomeness. My thoughts. I am really digging this. it is extremely well done and the color selection is very good, model and base. My critique is that on the most extreme edges, tips and corners, might benefit from a touch of Skull white. I think it could add a bit of sharpness to those edges. it might also be the pictures, sometimes they don't capture everything. Also, the detail work, the light blue detail on the wings, could use a little highlight or shade. It seems just a base color. Now this of course a bit of nit picking,as the model is extremely well executed and utterly gorgeous. This is shapping up to be one of the most beautiful DE armies I have ever seen and want to offer a few minor comments to ensure you get best painted at every tourny you go to. Well except for the ones I go to of course. | |
