| If it was possible to liquefy this thread so I could inject it straight into my veins that would be great. | |

| Thanks Cav . I have nearly finished painting the first one, as I was so eager to get started. I have had a few looks of confusion when they roll out of a raider in the middle of my opponents army............ .... 'Er what do those fat dudes do mate? ....'they are my slyth unit ole chap' ...'slyth? But they are rotund gents not snakes' ...'yes, yes they are old bean' ...'and what are their stats?' ..'i'll do a round of shooting to show you' Dice roll ..............er.......uh................WUT! (Me........ ) | |

| I don't want to know where there guns are being kept! Seriously good though, also, very versatile unit as you definitely switch them between sslyth and grotesques. Shooting out of the lolipop stick or bopping them on the head with it (poisoned 4+ because he dropped it on the floor and ignored the 5 second rule right )excellent though | |

Yes I am planning to do that when needed. If I need to run more than 5 or try a list with quite a few of them I will use this unit instead. I am seriously enamoured with 9 slyth in a raider with splinter wracks, as it is so brutal! - Grub wrote:

hahaha yeah totally. Poisoned lollipops lol | |

| It came out perfect. Colors are super crisp, and the color choices are perfect. I love the skin... the purple shading is brilliant. Awesome job Spellcheck I love it! | |

| @Cavalier. Thanks, Glad you think it all works. I kinda went with gut instincts on this one on the colours, so am pleased they work for others too. I am having a little trouble with my photos again recently. The shading/blending is actually a little more subtle than shown in the pics, but for some reason they are really pronounced when I take the photo's. I have a friend who has lent me a tripod and camera so I am going to try and experiment with it and see if I can get a little more improvement. @ ESE. Cheers . I am buying some primer hopefully tmoz, so plan on getting a few more done over the hols. | |

| very cool, especially the vials, not too bright, which could have been too much with the other colours on the model. | |

| Cheers TBE . I am very happy with how the vials came out too. It is always slightly tricky when there are so many colours on a model to not make it look too busy, so glad it looks ok | |

| Im dancing, Im dancing!!! Ha Ha Im loving this. First time I saw this it blew my tight little socks off! Now after a while away from the site, I come back to the delightful sight of ten fat Lollipop men wobbling their bellies and shaking their lollipops at me. One of them is even painted and looks pure class. As you may be aware, harlequins are rumoured to be getting a release early 2015. Games Workshop should show your army in the army of the month in White Dwarf to coincide with this release. I guarantee it would boost sales of the stuff as people would be inspired by what you have done here. Although they may be disappointed that the Lollipop Sslyth Dudes (or LSD for short didn't get a codex entry | |

| Roll up roll up! Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the big-top, to the greatest show on earth – welcome to the La Danse Macabre! You are about to witness scenes both thrilling and dangerous. Never before has such twisted talent been presented together on the same programme. Exciting, terrifying, fantastic feats all on display before your very eyes – tonight! From the far corners of the heamonculus's den, the demented take much pride in presenting a freak of such hideous visage, such monstrous of form, that all who look upon him will writhe in agony and have their souls turned to smoking husks. He is the one who haunts your childrens nightmares, he is the ghoul in the cupboard, the skeleton in the closet, the monster under the bed. I bring forth for your viewing pleasure......... CRONOS! Flung from the musty corners of my demented and fevered brain came this creature. The dream inducer, who feeds on the wispery tendrils, like a leech, and devours all before him. I began this conversion with a necron c'tan I had picked up for very cheap a while ago on Ebay. After a bath or two of fairy power spray I managed to strip some of the thick paint coating the mini (some just will not come off, but it was good enough for me to start chopping). I had been gifted a few tentacles in a trade and put them to good use, along with a few other talos parts. I wanted to create a nightmarish creature, modified and experimented on by its haemonculus masters, and the wraith like wasted body of the c'tan really helped to evoke this. I especially love the contrast between the two arms, one muscluar and unnaturally enlarged, the other wasted and twisted, supported by tubes and steel bars.
