| Thanks Sangarn. Look forward to seeing some of your stuff painted up. I shall send you some slaves so their screams of pain may lend your paintbrush wings . _________________ My DE project log :- Harlequin Carnivale - La Danse Macabre My Wargaming blog :- Objective Secured | |

Oh dear, Would replacing the hand be an option? would require a repaint though...

| Yes i think that could be an option but would put me back a bit on the paint job and prob damage what i have already done. I might try pinning it and then repairing it with green stuff. Not sure pinning something so small and fiddly is possible though......... _________________ My DE project log :- Harlequin Carnivale - La Danse Macabre My Wargaming blog :- Objective Secured | |

| I would replace the entire hand and pin it at the wrist. _________________ "Solutions are good, how many dark eldar archons can you find sitting in their throne rooms whining that they used to rule the universe? | I'd seen some of these a while back, but first time I'd seen them painted. Fantastic work, both conversions and painting. Too bad (for me) that you green stuffed most of the masks - I've been trying to find something like that.
Inspired use of lions in your beastpack too - but why aren't they on 40mm bases?

| @ evil space elves. Yes i think it is looking like my only feasable option to replace the hand (sob)
@Ben s. thanks for the compliments. The masks are actually made from the sanguinary guard helmets. I press moulded a bunch using a type of plastic that you heat up in boiling water and then push your bit into to create a mould ( i think the stuff is called instant mold) it is very useful for casting little bits and bobs like masks, purity seals ect. Oops The lions are not on 40 mm bases because in my mind i thought the kymerae were on bike bases and did not check the pics. Thanks for pointing it out to me. I will change them over to the right ones _________________ My DE project log :- Harlequin Carnivale - La Danse Macabre My Wargaming blog :- Objective Secured

| The final two finished. I AM A MACHINE!..............er maybe not. I am happy these are done now. Completing this squad has taken a significant amount of time and energy. Probably the most time i have ever spent on a single squad in my life. Worth it though. I think I will do a bit of converting now. Feeling a bit burnt out on the painting front. Got a cool idea for a talos that I want to try out next _________________ My DE project log :- Harlequin Carnivale - La Danse Macabre My Wargaming blog :- Objective Secured | |

| Completed squad photo. I think the scheme works well enough so they are not looking too much like a bunch of random models but have lots of individual character. What do you all think? Does/will it work as a squad/army scheme? _________________ My DE project log :- Harlequin Carnivale - La Danse Macabre My Wargaming blog :- Objective Secured | |

| Really cool links sangarn. I did not know those mordheim models existed. That nurgle project log is awesome, now bookmarked.Really inspiring stuff. Thanks for pointing me in their direction Got me a raider to paint as well jack frost. Gonna have to give my new airbrush a try for the basecoat but am nervous as my airbrushing skills are appalling. Still, the idea of painting all that bodywork with a brush sends a shiver down my spine. I hate painting vehicles and the raider is more fiddly than your standard rhino _________________ My DE project log :- Harlequin Carnivale - La Danse Macabre My Wargaming blog :- Objective Secured | |

| They look fantastic. A bit difficult to know how it will scale up to a whole army - then there might be more danger of them looking disunified - but if they're all of this quality then I'm sure it will work. | |
