| BoBo. Terrifying. I'm actually afraid of clowns...
He's a mighty addition and totally in keeping with the theme you've established. Eldar Wraithknight corrupted, tortured (improved!) by the tender ministrations of a dedicated Haemonculus. The afro is stunning and the bowtie is a lovely touch. It really does say "warped sense of humour" perfectly, again, rather fitting for your theme!

| @Calyptra. The tentacle maker (although mine is made by masq-mini, but is the same thing) is a must have in my opinion. I have found so many uses for it and it really makes converting that much easier I will remember to call it stipple in the future @Rathian. Thanks very much . The afro was a bit of work but I am glad you are all digging it, as I am quite satisfied with the results (although the perfectionist in me always sees areas to improve on). There is just something about clowns that is kinda freaky. I blame Stephen Kings IT myself | |

| can you get a mini mp3 with beat boxing that you turn on whenever that wraithknight is played? (Yes the mp3 would be in the knight)

| I'm not sure it was a necessary change, but the model definitely looks better for it. | |

| @Lord_Alino. Yeah i reckon so . It could play bandstand carnival music until my opponent cracks @Calyptra. Thanks man, glad you like it. You are right, slightly unnecessary but I feel better for doing it SC | |

| @nexs. Hmm, I am still trying to formulate a plan for the colour scheme but I do hope to start on him soon, as I do have an idea for some areas. I really really need to get a few grunts (raider crew & 5 warriors) done first so my army has at least a few finished units on the table | |

| Hehe, I certainly am, but the juggling act of balancing multiple colours and patterns can be quite a challenge and requires a bit of thought. It is not so bad on smaller minis but with larger ones the big areas of flat colour really show, so you have to be quite careful in the colour selection | |

| Ghost Glaive and scattershield, but tbh I use them for the guns as well, I just explain to my opponent before hand what they are. I do have another wraith knight that I am thinking of converting as well, which will be armed with a more shooty load out, so I can swap between the two hopefully | |

| Ha! You sir are a stern task master I had to take a bit of a break from painting after a (rather embarrasing) Painting meltdown trying to get my stormwolf done for a tournament. I am slowly re-introducing myself to it by doing small (non 40k) projects like a dropzone commander unit, or single Malifaux model, and eventually I will get my mojo back to do a bit of 40k again Keep hassling me though, it will get me focused SC | |

| If i were to offer my input re the flier... The issue you're having is the washes, yeah? Unless you're goin for an overall dirty/weathered look(in which case, you've nailed it), I'd be doing one (or both) of two things. 1- 1:1 wash:thinning medium. It becomes more translucent and thus, your splotches become less visible. 2- Decide where you want the wash to sit and draw the wash *into* those areas, starting about 1cm from where you want to finish. That way, you don't get the splotches and discolouration across the happy shiny panels of silveryness.
If you're doing both these things, and it's still being blotchy..... Then I'm afraid you'll need something more along the lines of an exorcism. Sorry.

| Thanks for the input nexs I did not add any medium for the wash on the armour plates, but the blotchiness on that is fine as I need them to look weathered anyway. The red and white however I did not want to be blotchy, and did add medium to the red, but did not for the white. Both were blotchy after drying (although I could paint over the red blotches, whereas the white I will prob have to re-paint . Not a total dosaster as I originally thought (once I had left it for a bit and came back a few days later I realised I had totally over reacted and it was not too bad. It was just the frustration of everything going wrong on every stage that made me melt down. It did not help I had a deadline to paint to for it as well). | |
