This is a beautiful Iyanden army you have. very smooth colours, and I really like the effect you have on the Wave Serpent canopy. Very nice!

Also... yet another Wave Serpent finished.

I painted up a squad of Guardian Defenders yesterday after my Wraithguards with D-scythe had a minor spraying accident... They'll be ok once I get some break fluids.

Lots of great stuff getting done! You're really busy these days, aren't you? Really well done, great clean style as I've said before and can't not repeat again and again!

Looking great. Really clean paint style you have. Dettol works great on plastics and is not as toxic as brake fluid.

Thought I'd share some images from a battle today, ended as a draw.

I must say that I LOVE Maelstrom of War scenarios. I was a bit reserved during the battle (I didn't want to get too close to his Land Raider due to Arjac and some terminators), but it saved many Eldar lives, but sadly 3 Guardians fell... :C Their stones will continue service in a construct!

Got to say I am not one for building a yellow schemed army myself, partly because it's so hard to get it to look good (white is like that too). That said you sir have pulled this off magnificently! Really impressive work and good lord with that amazing table, that game should be in white dwarf. Easily better than half the reports in there!

I'm a sad man, I was sitting down and thinking what a different looking Dark Eldar army would look like so I've chosen yellow/red with a splash of orange. It's going to take forever to get good XD

It's hard! Although at least in recent years it has gotten easier with better paints with higher pigment counts, air brushing, sprays, etc. Back in the day a yellow or white army meant like a dozen paper-thin layers to look good. There are lots of good guides online for products and techniques to do it. Still looks super impressive and I really like your alternative color scheme.

I dont really think the yellow is that hard once you know the drill, I seldom use actual yellow unless I paint vehicles, since all infantry are Casandora Yellow wash on a white surface (doing that on serpents before painting on Flash Git Yellow) and white edge highlights.

Great looking shots from the battle! The table looks great and the armies are well painted as well, must have been a joy to play that game.

We DO lack proper ruins, since most of the terrain we have is Fantasy, Mordheim or GorkaMorka themed.

I'm thinking of making some Eldar terrain though, I haven't gotten into the terrain building business yet really.

Had a VERY quick paint job done, just so that I could field my Wraithguards through the Wraith Host formation in the new codex.

Added some transfers to my Wraithlord, also finished a bunch of Wraithguards.

Speedpainteda few old Windriders for a game today.
