| Hey Folks, So for those of you who didn't read my intro I have been at Dark Eldar for about 2 months no, in that time I have already changed my colour scheme once so I don't have as many units painted as I would like... but oh well. Here are some photos of what I do have finished. My first unit of wyches Hekatrix and wyche with hydra gauntlets Random wyches First warrior unit (missing 2 unfinished) Sybarite and warrior with shredder Random warriors Pain tokens made after the article on the GW page My current project is a unit of Mandrakes for a finecast painting competition at my local GW. I am going to do some more work on converting the nightfiend today so I will upload pictures of that when I have a chance. Otherwise I have 2 raiders, 3 reavers and another unit of warriors to work on so they will be along eventually. | |

| Agree with xzandrate about your bases Dizzy, very solid. The pain tokens are nice and subdued, but effective.
Luv'ly paint job on the figs, your army will look great all together!
Cheers. | |

| Hey folks, so mandrakes are mostly finished with the exception of a diorama/base to display them on. That should be finished tomorrow of Friday just in time for the painting competition on Saturday, I will upload some pics afterward. Right now I have my first painted reaver, the arena champion, started and finished it this afternoon. Enjoy | |

| While I hate Arena Champions, I dig those markings on his bike. Very stylish.
Also, moving to Project Logs since all is done.

| Lol yeah, at this point I am mostly making and painting models that I like and think look pretty. Mandrakes aren't great but I still have a unit because they are super cool! I also really like scourges and will buy some at some point for interest in modelling and not tactical reasons.
This army is me satisfying a massive interest in making my first actually well painted and modeled force. I already have a solid Blood Angels force if I want to play something to beat my opponent with. In the long run though this will turn into mostly Warriors and Wyches in raiders supported by Incubi and Trueborn.

| Nice, really like the colours, not ones I would think to put together but they really work well! | |

| Hmm.
Has this been posted elsewhere? For some reason I feel like I have seen this army before.
Nice blue. Nice bases.
However I feel like the figures are getting lost. Maybe its the background or the bases, but I am really wanting something to stand to more, like the reaver.
maybe a touch of the orange on the regular warriors? I don't mean anything is wrong with them, but I find that they all kind of just mesh together in a mess of cool colors and neutrals. Then again, it could just be the lighting and or the background.
My thoughts anyway on a really good start.

| I think the oranges and brighter shades are becoming a bit muted. I intend to take some better pics are some point with my good camera (those were taken with my phone) but I only just got it back the other day. I could probably use better lighting too. | |
