I now have a cold...(a great way to get out of any undesirable family meets at Christmas) is there any connection????

I got a box of Scourges yesterday - Merry Christmas everyone! Will see if I'll just put them together or if I'll instead use them for conversions. Thanks a lot Nico!

Well an update!  I received my gift from Darkgreen Pirate on December 24th.... and it is a nice customized Ravager!  Nicely painted and very customized!  It is everything a new Archon could ever want.  Now to smite my enemys with it!  For those interested, DGP posted this thread here on how he built it!

Well, I have received a very nice gift from Algae, exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to add some critters to my evolving Beastpack and Algae converted up a set of 5 Fenrisian wolves into custom Khymerae. He also included 5 extra, unassembled wolves that I can convert to match.

I have plenty of spare gribbly parts, so this will not be a problem at all. And I can use a few to help patch up the minor re-arrangment a few of them suffered in the postal webway   

Algae's conversions are very effective, the extra mass on their backs and the lengthening of their necks (especially) completely alters the look and feel of them, as do the 'gants heads.

Oh man. Sorry to see them arrive so beat up! I will have the webway master flayed to ensure it will never happen again! I thought I had down a much better job packing them to ensure their survival. Hopefully you can make sense of where everything goes, I have additional pictures of them assembled if you would like too. Cheers, and I hope you enjoy the gift.

Nah, I like those Khymerae... it would be a shame.. if... if something were to HAPPen to them...

There are some wonderful unique gifts in this year's Raid so far, and knowing what's in a couple of the six remaining to be delivered I am quite sure there will be more. I am getting rather antsy myself for them to see the light of day.

Unfortunately, Gherma is not the only one who was hit by the postal gremlins.

Yes, that must be it ESE, I need to switch back into friendly-librarian-mode. Algae's gift did seem to capture the attention of Canada Post for longer than usual, considering he's just over the border. And my own gift seems to be taking it's sweet time navigating the Warp, although, unlike Gherma's, at least my moved for a while before stopping to party

No worries Algae, it is rather minor damage with bits simply fallen off and a couple of tentacles needing new tips or their blades re-attached. Easy to figure out and to fix, and yes, I will definitely enjoy them. First tournament is the beginning of February   

I was actually surprised at the damage, minor as it was - you did pack them extremely well and the package itself hadn't taken one for the team. Another postal mystery.

This has looked an absolutely amazing secret santa and I hope to be able to take part in christmas 2014. Some of the unique work is just unbelievable.

My gift is certainly competitive for 'best' this year, I'm smiling just thinking about it. I'm really looking forward to going down to the FLGS and painting them up, as I suspect the 'wow' factor will be present when people see them.
