I spoke too soon!!! ESE was more than amazing and really outdid himself in his gift to me. I am very very thankful, Merry Christmas sir!

I was lucky enough to receive a converted haemunculus, venom and 4 paints (all colors I don't even have and they are all named after Dark Eldar things!) I have the biggest smile on my face. Best of all it came with a letter explaining the gift and how ESE did research and even managed to get my opinion on a model meant for me with what the haemie would best be equiped with (axe and liquifier!).

The funny part is that I saw this picture and I thought damn, thats a great way to give him an axe, ill do the same thing! Literally just canceled my haemie order I had placed at my FLGS hahaha! AMAZING!

It was a sneaky way to figure out what you wanted...the Dark Eldar way?

I hope I can get my new venom together soon too! I gotta work on my wrack models too so I stop using scouts haha! Now to figure out how to paint the haemie well first!

A quick update.  According to my calculations, there are three gifts outstanding.  Two are in the wind, having been delayed by illness and the Italian postal service.  And the third is close to launch, due to a delay in the necessary bitz arriving prior to conversion.

It is too bad that not everything arrived before Christmas, but so long as they do all arrive, that will be a huge success.  RL is always a bit of a landmine in this endeavour, but this year has been quite good so far.

Yeah, I don't think we've had a 100% Raid yet - I think those new restriction rules, though a bit harsh sounding, did *wonders* for the community by ensuring no deadbeat moochers snuck in this year.

Acctually Thor, the reason we have had such a successful raid this year is because, -Removes Life-Support Helmet- You have the High Lord Archon Alino Las'Kalo of the Kabal of the Darkened Light in this raid, and I have, other then striking fear into the Secret Santas, I have stationed 50,000 Trueborn around the world to make sure all the gifts are sent out. -Grins- And that is the story of how the High Lord Archon Alino Las'Kalo saved Christmas.

Least use of the Aid Committee having to pay out their own money/time/models to make up for filthy underhanded thieves?

I am also now 2/3 for receiving basing sand in the Raid.

Alino walks behind Ligs with both huskblades drawn, "Punk, You killed my trueborn."

Alino slashes into Ligolski, but fails to land his blow. The huskblades mearly cut through a shadow form of ligolski...nothing but an illusion. Ligolski becomes one with the shadows and disappears completely.

Hires the Iyanden Craftworld to come into the webway and find Ligs.

I recieved a package of nicely converted and very well painted wracks. Pics this weekend.
