| Oh now I like those grotesques, that's some very cool work indeed, I think my favourite is the hydra gauntlet version though! | |

| Thank you! ^^ Glad you like them, was a bit sceptic that some things could look like slapped on or overdone. Anyway in my fluff, they are custom made for my Archon as body guard, by a small splinter group of the Hex, who experiment with secret strains of the glass plaque and it's correlation with Wraith Bone of captured Wraith Constructs. Along with the usual fleshcrafting | |

| Ooh, I really like those Grotesques. Might be a nice way to model Vect's castigators. - Path of the Archon spoiler alert!:
I was really disappointed to discover in the book that Vect's "secret weapon" castigators were just tormented wraithguard. I know GW fluff never fits well with their actual game mechanics. But given that we are overloaded with poison weapons, what Archon has ever had difficulty dealing with high toughness, SMurf save robots? Vect may be supreme overlord in fluff-land, but his secret killer police force would be laughed at by any Dark Kin on the table.

| Yes that was one of the main inspirations, and the Wraithguard Models look so sexy! Price is quite Okay. I also wanted to mention that the amount of Bits you get with Coven boxes is ridiculous. And Kitbashing is fun | |

| Hey man, thought I'd leave a comment here, too, after having read yours on my plog. The progress you have done with your miniatures is crazy! The first models don't even compare to your latest ones. Also, the pictures don't really do them justice, after having seen 'em in real life yesterday. Great stuff. So, what are you up to currently with this army? | |

| Looking good dude. Always good to have something different to paint, as I find it a good motivator to then be able to come back to my DE, having painted something completely different. | |

Some progress on my monthly vow of march My first five Grotesques, called The Crazed: One is finished, i experimented on the head with Agrellan Earth for a crazed look, didn't really work out all that well. The other four are still WIP: Group shot: Comments and critique would be very welcome, anyway have a nice day! | |

| Thank you, CurstAlchemist I'm always trying to do something special, often causing a lot of experimenting. Glad you like the result. By the way, i'm starting to question the wisdom of my idea to paint ALL the bumps on my "Wraithgrots" as gems, hope the final look will be worth the extra work | |

| A bit of progress: Another Grotesque got gems now: And i cleaned up the head of the first (at least i hope it looks better) Plus one hand broke off, reattached it in another angle i like more. Plus freehand! The symbol of my coven, it's called the Parabol and is a splinter faction of the Hex. | |

| @spellcheck2001: I guess i want to have more painted transports, by now it is 1 Venom :/ Probably gonna paint at least 1 more venom and 2 raiders+crew, eventually more. And maybe i can craze the raiders up a bit to fit my Grotesquerie. But first, Tyranids: 10 Termadjents and a Carnifex. | |
