| Maybe a supplement that allows you to herd hordes of slaves into battle.
Not something I am particularly keen on (but not averse either) but sound like the sort of things GW would do allowing you to take other model ranges in your army.

| Only thing I really want is the option to take Wych HQ's on Jetbikes, or at the very least we get a Jetbike HQ of some sort.
T4 HQ would be nice! | |

| How are supplements taken in other armies? Are they Allies, and if so, does that mean they then cannot ally with themselves, so the supplement cannot be battle-forged with the main codex??? Or is there another way around this? | |

The RAW position is that allied detachments must be chosen from a different faction to your primary detachment and therefore you cannot ally with your own supplement, as they are same faction. You can however take as many Combined Arms Detachments from within the same faction as you want and you would therefore simply take one from the relevant supplement. Many people have issues with this as it allows some pretty powerful combos by taking 1 HQ and 2 Troops per CAD and then spamming whatever your preferred option is. You could for example take a Haemi and 2 x 3 Wracks for just over 100 points and add 3 Ravagers. Do that 3 or 4 times and you have an entirely legal battle-forged army with 9-12 Ravagers! At least 2 major tournaments (BAO and NOVA) have taken the decision that only one CAD is allowed but that an allied detachment can be chosen from the same faction, which is basically the same as 6e.

| According to this we don't have to wait until late fall. We're next month!!! Dakka Dakka has a thread tracking the accuracy of various rumour sources and this guy has thus far been 100% accurate so this rumour could actually have legs. | |

| I don't know if I buy it. I mean I'd love to but they don't normally do xenos after xenos when there's a spes mehreen army still waiting.
And I see he's accurate but we don't know how "radical" the rumours he called are. Idk maybe I'm just a pessimist lol

| They could be pushing their spec mehreen for a Christmas release area? Space Wolves make perfect Santa Claus models. What better way to sell Spec Mehreens then sell them during Christmas. New Two Army battle box. Blood Angels are the color of Christmas Red. I know I'm drawing on stupid conclusions and theories . But one can hope | |

| I heard GK would come first, then perhaps DE. Would make sense about not releasing xeno after xeno. Now that I think about it, have there ever been xeno after xeno release recently? | |

| Really? I believe AM and IK was between two xeno, some supplements for clan racoon and SM. I believe it was nids, AM and now orks for 2014. | |

For months now, public opinion/rumours have been that either BA or SW would come after Orks. Some sources said BA, others SW. The imminent new starter/boxed set Sanctus Reach: Stormclaw (SW vs. Orks) seems to indicate SW as the next one - going on tradition that a starter set for a new edition would feature the first two codices of its edition. August could be some Fantasy release, September Space Wolves, October could be another Fantasy month. I'm pegging November for a new DE codex.

Not to derail this topic, but the book was only Volume 1. Go see http://natfka.blogspot.nl/2014/07/leaked-images-space-wolves-vs-orks-box.html for next week's WD cover.

Ahhhhh. Disappointed its not Blood Angels. Makes sense though for Space Wolves to be the next Codex (though I will vent rage somewhere if there's a small rulebook in that new box set).

Makes sense though for Space Wolves to be the next Codex (though I will vent rage somewhere if there's a small rulebook in that new box set). I'm still not seeing anything that actually indicates this is a new, 'Dark Vengeance' style starter set. All I can really see from what's leaked so far is that the cover of this week's WD has one new Space Wolves character and that they are releasing part 2 of the Sanctus Reach 'project', which involves Orks and Wolves. I can't imagine GW producing a new starter set that was part of a bigger project. They would never get a new player to buy it! EDIT - Okay, I've now seen some more pics here which do seem to be more along the lines of a new starter set. Guess I'll be picking up a mini rulebook off ebay again...
