New Dex in the late fall

Back on topic - I've been keeping an eye on the Dark Eldar products at GW's site for the past 3 weeks and guess what..... The Haemonculus, Archon and Incubi kits have all been "out of stock" for the duration of my watch.  My money is saying that those will be the new plastic kits we get.

I just check in the canadian store and only the Haemonucus is temporary unavailable. So who knox what to expect.

If I've learned one thing in watching rumours for GW products it's that what is Out of Stock or Unavailable or missing on the website is virtually never actually relevant to what's going on.

I think I am going to go through the threads and posts and compile a list of what every one suggested and if ok with everyone, tweak up the codex and then see if I can playtest it against my friends in our club and see how it goes... I may try a small game this thursday...

I would be very interested on how your games played out good sir.

Happy to try it, I will work on this and if I can get a small test game out this week I will do a report or at least an overview of any positives and negatives. as a group, we only have thursday and maybe a weekend day to play, everyone's schedules are wacky and can change weekly...

Necron Codex is unavailable -walks away-

Go figure.  On the US site, the DE book is still available, but only in printed form.  The Necron e-book is available, but not the printed book.  9/8/14 1930 MDT.

I don't think it's that big of a deal even if we're not the next codex to be updated. We're going to get it at some point. Why not just hoard all of your disposable income until then and then raid the new releases?

Yeah, it's a bit of a flesh fair. If you imagine the floor of Rock City is sticky with blood (instead of whatever it's actually sticky with) then it could almost be some kind of seedy low Commorragh bar. I kid you not, last time I went in there they had dancing girls IN CAGES

People on faeit are claiming they have confirmation that "Hold onto your soul" does indeed pertain to us. Although that could just be this fancy art book or whatever the heck it is. If they're not fibbing of course.

But... but... the uncertainty of how bad the dex will be is unbearable, especially in view of the evident disparity between our dex and the new ones... :-D I am bulging my eyes at the screen every morning to see any news... good news that is. :-D
