| So, with the new "unbound" army style confirmed in WD, what do my fellow archons see for possibilities (Only grots? 10 ravagers?), or do we suppose to be better off with our lists as they are now, claiming the unannounced bonuses for being battle-forged?
My view: only real point is taking more ravagers, or maybe trueborn. Depends on the amount of "bonus" you get for playing vanilla.
For those who do not know what this is, basically, in the upcoming book 24 may, you have 2 possible lists. Firstly battle-forged, AKA the traditional FOC including allies matrix et al, this confers some "bonuses". Secondly, there is "unbound": No FOC, field what you like, the dreaded "forge a narrative", no restrictions, no troop tax, 10 riptides vs 10 heldrakes.

| For me, I'll be waiting for the full release before I start thinking about it. Too early to tell what's likely to happen. There will be more to it than just that. I don't think it will be a simple case of "just bring whatever the hell ya feel like, little Jimmy".....there will be some twist or catch along the way
My $0.02 anyway... | |

| The battle forged bonuses may out weigh unbound by leaps and bounds | |

| Personally I'm thinking an army made up entirely of Talos and Chronos could be hellishly fun. | |

| Possibly, but I was thinking more of the Haemy standing at the back, steeling his fingers and laughing maniacally :-D | |

That's possible. The one in the back is an elder, the one who has to go, is his student.

| Locking this thread due to the fact that 7th isn't out yet. One cannot know what the best possibilities one will have until the rules are known. Please leave any speculation on 7th until it's released.
Cheers - Cavash. | |
