Heya all, I would like to have some C&C about this list.

The Haemonculi will be attached to the Wyches, and the Duke will be attached to the squad of Kabalite warriors. The basic plan is to basically try to get into position to shoot a number of things down as it advances, and the wyches will be my stormtroopers to storm objectives.

Best 1750 army ever - would eat all other 1750 armies out there.

...I'm pretty sure it's not a 1750 army though My math is saying it's a touch north of 1900, so you may wish to re-check your totals.

Easy fix is to drop the RJB squads and work in ...I dunno, maybe just an extra Wych or something. Splinter Racks on the Baron's barge maybe?

Other than that, I really like the list - unit comp is pretty close to what I would field and the overall army list is pretty solid - though I might be wanting those 5 man Warrior squads to be in Raiders not Venoms. Value call for local meta methinks.

Yeah, you are right, I was just calculating it again and I was off.

I could always upgrade one of the Venoms to a Raider, but that would weaken the long-range anti-infantry of the list, especially against those pesky Long Fangs or Lootas.

Do you see more Lootas/Fangs or more IG?

Most competitive lists I see now have bought into the Dashofpepper Ork build where they run squads of 5 Lootas, and that works out fine for less Venoms. If they're bigger squads I personally think you need 4+ Venoms to deal with them anyway, so the difference between 3 or 5 Venoms starts to be pretty debatable as you're only really weakening one squad on Turn 1 no matter what, and you should be assaulting the others.

Long Fans are worse, I'll admit, but usually the Wolves have less dangerous armor and I toss lances at them in addition to poison shooting, yeah, they'll inevitably have cover saves, but you can still put a serious hurting on them.

If you feel your list does fine vs. IG, which I really do believe is the list to beat at top tables, than you can happily ignore my Venom->Raider thought.

Well, I am not seeing Lootas as of this moment, but I am seeing Long Fangs and Devastators more often than not.

As for Imperial Guard, I have not faced off against IG mech armies yet, but from the looks of it the mech IG armies are slowly toning down for some odd reason.

It's because of DoA and the slow murder of the allies rules.
Though they're still racking up wins at the big tourneys, so they're certainly not done - maybe your area is just blessedly free of them.

I think it is more of the days I decided to game is the days the IG players are not in the store.
