Hi guys, in the next weeks I'll do my first game with 7th edition and I decided I'll try something a little different from the list I played befor, so I'd like to have your opinion about it.
I generally play in an half competitive hal friendly environment.

DE HQ
- Sliscus

DE TROOPS
- Assault wyches (7 wyches, hecatrix with agonizer in a raider)
- 2x Haywire wyches (5 wyches with haywire granades in a double cannon venom)
- 2x Kabalites (5 kabalites with blaster in a double cannon venom)

DE ELITES
- Trueborns (3 trueborns with 2 splinter cannons in a double cannon venom)

DE FAST ATTACK
- Reavers (6 reavers with 2 caltrops)

DE HEAVY SUPPORT
- Talos (liquifier gun)
- Lance ravager (with 3 lances and flickerfield)
- Dissie ravager (with 3 disintegrator cannons and flickerfield)

ELDAR HQ
- Solitaire (autarch with jetbike, mantle of the laughing god, laser lance and banshee mask)

ELDAR TROOPS
- Jetbikes (3 jetbikes)

ELDAR FAST ATTACK
- Hawks (7 swooping hawks, exarch with sunrifle)

TOT. 1750pts


Sliscus gives to all the vehicles deep strike, and the autarch boost reserve roll, so I can play deep striking a big part of the army if I have to go for second.

Sliscus start the game with the trueborns (12 cannon shots with 3+ venom) and then goes with the assault wyches.

The solitaire autarch zoom trough the battlefield finishing small units, damaging shoting units (like 5 man devastators) or charging units to absorb the overwatch (with rerollable 2+ overwatch it's not a problem) so other unit can charge in the same hth without any risk.

Haywire wyches and eldar hawks can work alone or in combination, deepstriking all near the same vehicle hitting it with 3 haywire granades in the shooting phase and maybe glancing it to death.

Hawks exarch can blind with his gun helping units going in close combat, and thanks to their multiple deep strike without scatter hawks can now take any obj in the last turn.

The guardian jeetbikes enter the game later (thanks to the autarch) and go to contest or to steal obj.

The talos is now scoring and can camping on home obj if needed (try to steal it to him!)

Greetings brother, I like the list it looks like one thats evolved over time. Therefore my suggestions will just be slight tweaks mostly..

-make those warriors into trueborn. Ive only played 10 games in 7th but so far it really is just a straight upgrade. The firepower of triple scoring trueborn is tremendous, plus you can add HWG to them if you get saucy or simply want a contingency. Ya wyches do it better but they are forced to close in to be effective, HWG trueborn are for the things that come at you. Im playing multiples of these currently to test em out. Anyway just an idea.

-Reavers I would prefer as 2 x 3. Scoring is what the games about now even more than before and if you roll up maelstrom of war missions you will appreciate the extra fast disposable unit.

-Buy the solitaire a fusion gun. Hes got great BS mobility and durability, and you could really benefit from the flexibility of a highly accurate ap 1 melta weapon in this edition.. in our army thats pretty rare.

-reduce the hawks to 6 no upgrades. I love the concept of the sun rifle but in practice it doesnt perform and makes a cheap flexible squad into something worth killing by adding 41 pts (including 7th body that is). These pts can go towards  buying that fusion gun and even leaving 30 ish left over from my guess.. almost a haemie for the wyches.

I wont mess with the disi rav since it seems to fit here.. im guessing you face meq mostly?

They are 6 yet ! I do an error writing the list on the forum XD so only 25 points gained for taking out the exarch

Yes, that's why!


However with this changes what you suggest to do with that points? Enhance the sails of the raider? Some vehicle equipment? An arena champion with venom blade or similar upgrades to other squads?

It's only 15 points, but you could get the following upgrades on your assault unit's raider:

Enhanced Aethersails (5)
Torment Grenade Launchers (5)
Shock Prow (5)

This would allow you to tank shock troops at an extended distance to get your own assault troops into position, and give the enemy a -1 modifier to leadership against both the tank shock morale test, and any subsequent leadership tests in which they are within 6".
