500 point DE

I am new to the game and new to Dark Eldar however I knew from the moment I saw them, that those were the models I wanted to field. I need to have 500 points for a Tournament at my local Games Workshop. So far I have bought the Battle Force and that is all. I was thinking about grabbing Duke Sliscus for my HQ and work with what I got. I play on buying more models just want to know what I should add to hit a 500point army with just starting the Battleforce.

You would benefit from a nother transport or two to your Wyches. And a Ravager is always a good choice.

The duke might be too expensive in a 500 point list. Try a solid equipped haemi instead.

I agree with this. It's an easy trap to fall into, to grab an expensive, cool HQ. I do it personally, but only in 1500-1850 point games. For a 500 point game, a Haemy, Archon, or Succubus are your go-to's, with the Baron a very slight possibility if you wanted to use hellions as troops. You'd be surprised at just how much you can field at 500 points.

Quick List possibility:

HQ:
Haemonculus w/ Liquifier gun

Troops:
2x 5 Wyches w/haywire grenades

Elites:
4x Kabalite Trueborn w/ 4x Blasters

Transports:
2x Venoms w/ dual splinter cannons
1x Raider w/ flickerfield, disintegrator cannon, and torment grenade launcher

Total: 497 points

Would only need to buy 2 venoms and a Haemonculus to field this list with what you have already.
