| Looking for some feedback - always been a Iyanden fan (it's what got me into the game), and now I'm trying to work Dark Eldar into a list for some 'High Toughness/Heavy Hitting/Low Number' and 'Swarming/More Warm bodies to the table' synergy.
Point Bracket - 1850 (Currently 1845)
Baron Sathonyx
5 Beastmasters 15 Khymerae 4 Razorwing Flocks
5 Wyches + Haywire Grenades Venom, Splinter Cannon 5 Wyches + Haywire Grenades Venom, Splinter Cannon 5 Wraithguard, D-Scythe 1 Wave Serpent, Holo-Fields, TL Scatter Lasers, Shuriken Cannon 5 Wraithguard, D-Scythe 1 Wave Serpent, Holo-Fields, TL Scatter Lasers, Shuriken Cannon
Farseer, Runes of Warding, Eldar Jetbike, + Singing Spear
Spiritseer
Wraithknight (Warlord) + Suncannon
So 4 troops, 1 Fast attack; Wraithknight needs more dakka, but not sure where to take the points off. Thinking of going just one unit of Wyches and adding a unit of Warp Spiders instead.
Thoughts? | |

| Beasts benefit in a big way from being fearless so if you can fins pts to give your Farseer Shard or Anaris and attach him to the Beasts they will be very hard to shift (as well as rolling up Fortune too) | |

| I think you are very light on Anti-Vehicle. I would like to see the Wraithknight be stock and run around with Strength 10 guns that way he can just focus on Vehicles and MCs. Or switch out 1 squad of Wraithguard for their stock Wraithcannons. Be sure to put the Spiritseer with that squad and you can cast Battle Focus on them (if running Iyanden Supplement) to be sure theyre in range Turn 1 or 2.
Also, doing either of those and dropping the bikes, you should be able to add in another Wych squad in a Venom with Haywires.

| I'm hesitant to go only 1 D-scythe unit; the weapon has been amazing for me. Unfortunately it's also the only way to make room for the 2nd wych squad, which would help a lot in terms of anti-tank and scoring units. | |

| Made a few changes, I'm fond of it. Thank you for your input Yeeman. Zeno - the Wraithknight as a Warlord is an Iyanden only skill.
Wraithknight - swapped out for base with 2 heavy wraithcannons and 1x scatter laser. The way I see it, the scatter laser is a cheap twin link, no need for a second.
Added a Shard of Anaris to the Farseer
Was able to fit the second unit of wyches back in
Still 2 d-scythes.

Warlord: Wraithknight + Scatter Laser x1
5 Wyches + Haywire Grenades 1 Venom + Splinter Cannon 10

| I dont like the Scatter Laser on the Knight because he can only shoot two weapons so one of his guns will be wasted. Plus you should probably have Guide or Prescience, so twinlinking is still possible. I would drop the Laser in favor of the Spirit Stone as that is just a steal for 15 points. Then use the last 5 points for a Singing Spear.
I like the look and feel of the list a lot more now.

I didn't even think about that, thanks! - SCP Yeeman wrote:

Done. Total Roster Cost: 1850 5 Beastmasters 15 Khymerae 4 Razorwing Flocks Baron Sathonyx Spiritseer 5 Wraithguard + D-Scythe 1 Wave Serpent, TL Scatter Lasers + Shuriken Cannon 5 Wraithguard + D-Scythe 1 Wave Serpent, TL Scatter Lasers + Shuriken Cannon Farseer, + Eldar Jetbike + Shard of Anaris + Spirit Stone + Spear Warlord: Wraithknight + 2 Heavy D Cannons 5 Wyches + Haywire Grenades 1 Venom + Splinter Cannon 5 Wyches + Haywire Grenades 1 Venom + Splinter Cannon I'm liking the looks of it a lot too now. I think with 25 warm bodies on the board, it makes target prioritization even more difficult, making up for a major weakness of Iyanden-style lists: our lack of wound allocations for anything that cracks our armor. Anti-tank is beefed up to some solid options, and the Wyches have worked well as surprise anti-tank that makes landraiders keep their distance. Granted, if I wanted to really, truly optimize this list I would likely choose other Eldar units, but that's not really the point.
