| What is the best way to equip and transport a 10 man Kabalite Warrior Squad? | |

| 10 Warriors fit in a Raider. Splinter Cannon is a nice upgrade for then. | |

| Splinter racks on the raider don't hurt either. And do not forget a flicker field. 5++ is pretty nice for only 10 points. | |

What he said, Nightshields can be useful too but they are a bit situational for their price. Useful if you know with a high degree of probability what your opponent will be bringing and the 6" range reduction will buy you a turn without being shot at.

| 10 warriors in a raider with splinter racks. Then do it again. 340 points of utter brutality if it gets within range, and as a bonus it looks significantly less threatening than anything else you've deployed. Cannons are a decent option too. Flickerfields less so, as Jink has no effect on passengers and even though the vehicle is forced to snap fire, passengers fire as normal (and missing out on a dark lance shot is a small price). A sybarite might actually be a better spend of the points, as it means you're more likely to pass a leadership test following a shaken/stunned result. | |

| I'll integer the above. Gunboat raiders are vicious, beautiful things. Traditionally I use a Splinter Cannon as well, though I've not done the maths to ensure that this is mathematically advantageous - though I'd imagine it is, even if splinter racks are a trifle costly. I've yet to use them in 7th but I imagine the improved mobility that comes with Jinx not affecting them will only help, though I suppose it might lead to a case where the racks are less important.... | |

| Racks are awesome for the points, hitting on 3+ gives you 6 hits from 9 shots, rerolling the 3 misses gives you two more hits which at 4+ to wound bought you one more wound.
At close range the maths doubles so you end up buying two wounds with it.
I think the cannon is worth the outlay, on the same maths as above at 3+ to hit and 4+ to wound you are buying extra wounds.

| Usually my warriors go ten strong with a Sybarite and a Splinter Cannon. I have not used Splinter Racks that much for their boats, though I always take Flickerfield, even in 6th edition with the 5+ Jink. I have not had that many games in 7th, but I tend to park the Kabalites in a ruin on an objective, while the Raider flies around seeking for other objectives to secure/deny. | |
