| Thanks to my first finecast debacle, I find myself in possession of five Incubi bodies without klaives. I may attempt to convert one of them into a Klaivex, but that still leaves me with four models to tinker around with. If anyone has any suggestions (or for that matter, if anyone has any unused klaives in their bits box) please let me know. | |

| an easy fix is to take a couple of spare hands from wyches, or even fore arms and then add some cut plastic card to make a new klaive.
The plastic card is not that hard to find at most model shops.
Mark out the shape you want, cut it out and then attach it to the hands you already have removed.
I did something very similar for my bone giant, although on a much larger scale, it still worked. the advantage is that you can cut the hand holds/grips to fit the DE hands.
Or an even easier conversion to modify the Hellion hellglaives. There are several conversions for them already and they look very nice.

| If you have a hobby shop or local GW near by they should replace the product for you. I don't know about online orders though. Also you can probably find a set of klaive arms on ebay for reasonably cheap.
Otherwise my suggestions would all be the same as GAR's.

| Interesting. I never considered the hellglaives as an option. I'm not sure how they would look mixed into a unit of regular Incubi though. I may have to see if I can get some hellglaives cheaply on eBay and see how it looks.
Of course, I've considered re-purposing the models for something else. I considered trying to use them as Trueborn, but I may have to do quite a bit of cutting if I do. Then again, they are finecast, so that should be easy.

| Perhaps I should explain. The problem I had was that all of the Klaives had been miscast when I opened the box. The two halves of the molds apparently did not line up correctly or they slipped or something. Whatever, the case, I called GW, and they sent me a new box of Incubi quite quickly, but now I have five Incubi bodies left over with no weapons. I've looked on eBay, but no klaives were up for auction. Maybe I should just keep looking and be patient. | |

| Take a look at the various painting blogs here, many use hellglaives with great success. I don't, but that's a matter of taste. | |

| Oh ok, if I had 5 free Incubi bodies I would definitely make something out of them, what were you thinking of for the true born? That could end up being cool. | |

| Saintspirit - I took your advice and looked at some of the conversion blogs. While I think some of the conversions look great, I don't think they would look so good mixed with a unit of regular incubi. As you say, a matter of taste.
dizylizy- I'm having trouble coming up with a good idea at the moment. My DE bits box is not quite on par with that of my other armies, as I have really just started my DE obsession (and it is quickly becoming an obsession). I would most definitely do a head swap for them, and I think I could cut down the arms so that I could swap in shooting weapons such as Blasters or Shard Carbines (both of which I have left over from my scourges) I just need to keep thinking about it.

| They would make a very nice looking of trueborn or maybe a modified converted Court. | |

| Well if you want to use normal Incubi then you may want to think differently, but the bodies themselves aren't that different to normal warriors so you're limited by the bodies if you want to make them trueborn. Nothing on the bodies says these are special. It's the weaponry and helms that do that. | |

| I preorder some Incubi and got them a week before release, put them together and they've just sat there. Their back vanes then found their way on to a Wych squad so the idea of turning them into Trueborn came a while ago. I'm planning on simply using a mixture of helmetless heads and blasters, maybe using some Guardian vanes to give them some variety. | |
