To Make A God...

Those of you who frequent the Realspace Chat will of course be familiar with the Khaine Plushie concept originating here. After much pestering encouragement by the lovely Lady Malys, I have finally decided to put some action into recreating said plushie in real life.
Without further ado, here are my meagre steps towards said creation so far:

Unfortunately I forgot to take my bits and bobs on holiday with me so the felty murderer is going to have to be postponed for a little while.

Well guys, I've made a fair bit of progress with the 2D version today! I'm intending on making a 3D version at some point but that probably won't be for a while. Anyway, some pics of what I've done today:

After various sketches I stenciled out his body,

Then copied the stencil onto a piece of felt,

Cut and pinned the body,

And finally sewed it up and turned it inside out. Unfortunately I haven't made a plushie since I was a little kid so it didn't occur to me that the crotch/leg area is possibly the worst bit for me to leave open for turning him inside out/stuffing him so it's been a little difficult. Pictures of the stuffed body should be up soon- hopefully by then he'll have a head!

Looks like the progress is going well, Cake. Can't wait to see it in person.

I fell in my chair when I saw the cat pillow. I thought the titan Kittens were taking over the universe.

Haha, the pillow is a little shocking I'll admit. Mummy dearest bought it for me today as a surprise gift.

It was like a surprise heart attack when I looked at it. Until my brain processed it was a pillow
