| No? I think it's weapons seems like excellent MEQ-killers, which also has a bonus (the pain tokens). _________________ Kabal of the Shadow Phoenix - Background Kabal of the Shadow Phoenix - Painting BlogModelled: 2753 pts Painted: 2263pts - shamroll wrote:

| It's slow and I don't want to use WWP to make it effective. AND... We don't have problems being MEW killers. | |

| Funny how nobody voted for "I don't plan on owning/using one". I guess it's because the models are way to beautiful not to be used. I personally am going to field one of each, I guess. A Talos more often than a Chronos, though. _________________ Visit my project log [last update: February 10th]: The Ebon Fire

| Looking at how the models.go.together, I may or may not try to magnetise them. I learned with my trygon that sometimes it is better just to buy two models than deal with all the pieces.
I will find a way to.work a talos in at some point, but I'm not sure how yet _________________ Lysis

I built mine as a Talos, but left most of the major bits unglued so I could swap back and forth if I feel like it. The only thing you can't easily swap is the helmet, really, everything else attaches by a peg and hole.

| I've got to say I'm sort of disappointed by the Talos. Have it built, still grey, and it's a lot less cool looking in person than the pictures I've seen of it. Maybe painting it will help. _________________ Forum Rules, please read. Dark City Mod Squad ahahahahha. I'm the nicest moderator. Don't think so? AHAHAHHAHHAHA! Don't make me ban you! AHAHAHHAHAHA

| I have 3 old talos I was going to convert with new weapons from kit, and bitz stores. I scratch built a chronos already, but like the new model so I will pick one up this summer for a second. Probably won't use two in many lists but all have option. and If I want to use one in tournament I'll have official model. | |

| I'm going to mumbly bitterly about the good old days and field my old scorpion style 'pain engine literally powered by writhing captive dude in pain' models rather than the odd floating junk-a-saurus things.
Meh, maybe I'll get one just for varieties sake. But I'm pretty neutral on the look of the suckers.
Fielding them, it's Talos for me. *maybe* a Cronos for WWP, but other than that Talos is superior in every way. _________________ The Title Troupe! - Nom fellow posters for custom titles.

I will find a way to.work a talos in at some point, but I'm not sure how yet They'd be fairly easy to magnetise, the only thing that might make it difficult is if you decide to use a liquifier or injector for the Talos, as those connect in two places to the body. Other than that, just magnetise the arms and the tail-socket, and you're good to go. I doubt anybody would complain about a Talos having the aerials/Chronos having the torture instruments, etc, so no need to worry about those. _________________ It's our galaxy, you just die in it...
