Yep, we've gone from four Troop choices to (effectively) one. Yay!!!

I wouldn't be so quick to discount wyches as they are the only unit to have assault grenades, and be able to contest and possibly seize held objectives. They can also lock down key units.

I can understand why GW removed Haywire from Wyches but they needed buffs to compensate for that loss and give them a battlefield role that they could actually do well. They didn't get that buff and we're left with a so-called assault unit with T3, no real save and that hits like a wet noodle.

Why do you feel that Haywire was removed from Wyches? My guess is that it was too easy for a group of 10 to wreck those miserable heavy walkers the imperial knights.

Can trueborn still take them?

Thanks alot Scorpion! you gave me an idea on how to run my army before the codex comes out!

instead of using my wyches with the wych stats, i will run an 'unbound' army using courts, with 9 lhamaean and a succubus in a raider. doing that yields a much better unit and cost 10 pts per unit when compared to the units i used to run

2) they do the same thing but only for Dark Eldar

4) Yes they allow you to tank shock (no ramming)
