Thruster trails, explosions, and other 'effect' bits?

Came across this Venom whilst browsing for inspiration and besides being insanely jealous of the paint job I noticed the thruster trails at the back which look amazing, and it got me thinking. Does anybody else use 'effect' bits? Are there suppliers for that? Or are those just from some other kit?

There is a company that does effect blitz and I will assure you that the ones you like are one of theirs, though originally sold as energy blasts for weapons. I am traveling right now but if this isn't answered by the time I am home I will get you the name of the supplier.
