Harlequins release in early 2015? - February 3, Skyweaver jetbike rules leaked

I personally don't buy models until I know what the rules are and, in the case of a codex, whether the codex is vaguely competitive.

I don't know what's in the White Dwarf, but, in fairness, we have the leaked rules for the Troupers and Solitaire. However, without knowing what their FOC looks like, we still can't use them.

Oh, I guess you could use them in an unbound army. If you're in to that.

There is a reason why they do it this way. It may or may not be a good reason, but it must be there, and I'm curious what it is. For example, the codex will reveal everything, so maybe their plan is to extend anticipation for as long as possible, rather than showing everything right away. That's baseless speculation of course; I'm just curious what their actual reasoning is. ("Let's put the codex in the second week of releases. It'll annoy the crap out of this one guy in New England.")

Also, I don't wanna be patient for an extra week. I want the codex *now*.

GW do not release codexes with rules for models that do not exist anymore (nor upgrades that can't be modelled from that kit I.E: Scourge solarite is the only model with access to a power lance in DE codex), and thus need to release the models first. Else, other companies might release models for units without models, and GW legal can't stop them, since GW don't make those models themselves.

Don't get me wrong, though, these new Harlequins are beautiful models.

Whatever, they have done a great job keeping the look and feel of them, and I am sure there will many interesting conversions and much bitz-swapping.

Not necessarily venoms, they might have the same chassis or similar base chassis.

Rumours say that some have seen the new jetbikes. Whispers speak of slightly larger eldar bikes, with two riders on each.

The manager of my local GW got the info from his resource manager - coincidentally the former store manager - that the coming weekend will see the pre-order for this Starweaver transport go up. No word on a codex or different rules format yet - as in, confirmation nor denial, just didn't come up.

Starweaver is the transport. Skyweavers are the jetbikes

I am really having a hard time containing how exited I am about this. A harlie delegation for my dark kin, doing the wyches work!

btw im intrested how many extra bits are in that jet box maybe a few extra harlie :3 like the wyches in the venom box

Those jetbikes have something terribly similiar to Torment Grenade Launchers underneath.
Maybe some halucinogenic grenades?
