I was literally just about to post that.

Not sure how I feel about Haywire cannon being Blast. Potential to hit more than one vehicle if clustered, but I rarely find my opponents bunch up their vehicles.

Furious charge makes them S4, weapon gives another +1 for a total of S5 on the charge.

They have furious charge as well so the total would be S5.

Not a fan of the blast stuff on bikes cause they will probably need to jink, but they seem fun if not very competitive. It really comes down to number of attacks, which is annoyingly left out of the rumor.

I kinda like that they have shuriken cannons. Some nice mid strength is a bit lacking in the DE codex.

Absolutely no point in having a blast weapon on a jetbike that is likely to need to jink to survive. Assault 2 would be far more useful.

And 50 points is extremely expensive, even if they do have 2 wounds each.

A Vyper is about the same points, isn't it? (no Eldar codex at the moment) How do they compare, roughly?

well, vyper has a TL catapult(so lame its not worth mention tho changeable to cannon for 10 pts) 5pts for eldar dissie(S6 ap2 hvy2) 10 for scatter rest not worth mention, expensive uőgrades tho fun combo with crystal targeting(max BS shot after flat out) otherwise venom statline without invul a usefull Vyper squad: 65/70 each and 3bike unit so around 195-200 points for an annoying tho short lived unit prefering War Walkers myself for outflank/scout +battle focus and that 5+ invul
however these harlies can take a 120 point Autarch with them(Soulshrive+jet+bansheemask) and/or farseer(s) soooo they vary in power compared on IC attached, tho they need a jet/board Archon so badly for tanking

I think you would use the 4+ invul the turn you need the blastwire - instead of jinking. Might kill a vehicle with the charge. A blast haywire...feels so very strange...

Consider the marine attack bike - it's points are pretty comparable and its weapons (heavy bolter and multi melta) match up as well. It's more durable with its 3+ armour but misses out on the assault aspect and special rules. I think it's about right, points wise

Good catch.

The 4++ does make it slightly better. I'll wait for the full rules before making my mind up. Models are very nice but not going to commit yet.

Looks like they're a fast attack. No assault grenades or flip belts. Hmm.

I think it's best to think of them as fire support like an attack bike rather than assault units (that can assault in a pinch). Interesting.
