| Hi fellows! It's a lot of time that I'm not very active on the forum (killing, torturing and working take a lot of time), but finally I fund some time to paint and to put on the forums some of my works. I take some photographs of some of my painted models, and I'm going to take more in the next days. I had some fun in creating for my models "GW-style" pictures, but sadly I'm not a good photographer and some phocus are not ok... however I hope you'll enjoy my works! I even want to use this post to say thank you to alla the people that the last year vote me for the best conversion and I even want to say thank you to Niko Alpaert for his last year santa. Your model have been a great inspiration for my actual paint scheme! NEW (Update March 30th 2015)Converted Warp Spiders Made by Wyches legs and Dark Elves Dark Riders Converted wracks (2014 Best Conversion winners) Made by Wyches legs and Dark Elves Doomfine Warlocks Kabalites Archon Feyd Rautha - inspired by old codex cover Made by Raider crewman, Dark Elves corsair's mantle and many spare pieces Solitaire Autarch - inspired by an old solitaire draw and by Indian Sadhus Made by Reavers part and a lot of green stuff Wraithguard / Castigator (other four are still under paint) Made mixing Wraithguards and Wraithblades part with some reavers blades I'll try to post more in the next days! Waiting for your comments!

| Phenomenal phenomenal stuff. Some of the best of I've seen on the forum. Everything looks fantastic... the Autarch, Wracks, and Wraithguard are the stand-outs for me. Even the Kabalites look great. Can't wait to see MOAR!!! | |

| Awesome work, both conversions and painting! I see what you meant about the pictures though, but the editing helped with that a bit Would you mind, if I "borrow" your idea of using the axeblades as bayonets on the wraithguard? Mine got a few Spikes too (from the reavers, raider/venom bellyblades, smaller ones from the warrior kits), but the guns are still to "clean" for DE I think ... | |

| Amazing stuff. Those wracks are just glorious, and your jet bike is brilliant. Seriously good stuff man.
Maybe only a minor criticism though. I feel your basing lets your amazing painting skills down somewhat. I would love to see these with something on the bases to really finish them off.

| I didn't even notice that there's nothing on the bases. THAT'S how great your minis look. Normally I'm a sucker for bases myself, as seen in my plog. | |

| I'm really happy and proud you like so much my work! This will encourage me for sure in painting more and then posting more photos! - Omega1907 wrote:

I'm just happy if you like my idea so much to decide to do the same! Good work! - Spellcheck2001 wrote:

In fact bases still have to be done! For basing i use a texturizing powder to mix to the colours as a base, and it's a boring thing to do for me, so I prefer to have many models completed and base them all at the same time. That's why they are still without basing! Basing will come!

| Absolutely made my day when I saw that Gherma finally has a project log here! I love all this work so far, especially the Autarch - he's just great! - and I really can't wait to see what else you come up with.

| Thank you again for all your compliments. If I'll have time this week end I'll take photos of a venom, a raider and my converted warp spiders! | |

| Can you outline your process for getting the great OSL? It's absolutely stunning and I would love to be able to do anything like that. | |

| Oh, object source lighting. Basically how you make it look like the eyes, guns, and shoulder line are glowing, convincingly. I have a hard time doing that without an airbrush. It looks friggin gorgeous on your Kabalites. How do you do it? | |

It's really a simple technique: Warpstone Green Nuln Oil wash Warpstone Green on almost the whole surface of the OSL Moot Green drybrush around the OSL Moot Green higlighs on the most exposed surfaces of the OSL White Scar in thight lines on the top of the OSL to do the reflexion Glossy transparent paint (not GW) on the whole OSL Hope it can helps!

| I'll have to give that a try! Thanks a lot. I haven't experimented too much with layering and drybrushing for OSL. Much appreciated! | |

| Another *stunning* PLOG. I'll have to watch this one. Love the jetbike solitaire. And the Wracks. And the Wraithguard/Castigator conversion - simple yet effective. I was just talking about Castigators, in another thread... - Plastikente wrote:
- Path of the Archon spoiler alert!:
I was really disappointed to discover in the book that Vect's "secret weapon" castigators were just tormented wraithguard. I know GW fluff never fits well with their actual game mechanics. But given that we are overloaded with poison weapons, what Archon has ever had difficulty dealing with high toughness, SMurf save robots? Vect may be supreme overlord in fluff-land, but his secret killer police force would be laughed at by any Dark Kin on the table.

| Just......just......just stunning. Lost for words. Your painting skills are immense. The conversions work really well too. Love the fluidity of the poses. SC | |

| You have to! My original inspiration for that conversion were the Fremen from Dune, so i think their fast/stealthy style could be good also for converted Striking Scorpions or Rangers, you just have to change weapons!
Or after all they can even be good Trueborns... but for sure the double box Dark Riders/Doomfire Warlocks is totally good for Dark Eldar conversions... and I still have the horses that i was thinking to use in some ways for Beastmaster pack conversion!

| Your warp spiders are perfect, I think they could also work as mandrakes if you prefer to see them as stealthy assassins. | |
