Well Vect has been known to bring along wyhes of the cult of strife into all kinds of battles seeing as he is a huge fan of lelith hesperax and of the wonton destruction those wyches bring to the battlefield ... But I do agree he wouldn't bring only wyches and leave behind a legion of his kabalites ... Granted if the woman running amongst the wyches and directing the battle is lelith ... It would be great to see a new plastic module for her

To be fair, in the fluff, wyches are supposed to be THE premier DE combatants, with skill and grace unmatched elsewhere in commorragh, even by the Incubi temple. Want proof? This series of banter was meant solely to give you insight into how GW balances your codex. 2 guys semi-roleplay and determine that 1 ineffective CC unit can take out another ineffective CC unit, so they both must be A-OK and balanced. PRINT!

I have to disagree. Wyches are made to combat the likes of Incubi while Incubi are made to combat shooty, high save units. They were never meant to compare to each other. :-) But we are getting off topic.

Why does nobody mention the fact that Vect has many clones of himself that also do the dirty work, that ensure that he survives and make an assassination nearly impossible?

I thought about it but I dont think clone would get some special rules.

Side note: how do you make clones follow orders instead of trying to take power for themselves? I mean, if they're ACTUALLY a clone of Vect, do you think they'd really let OG vect order them around? Wouldn't they ALSO be tactical geniuses and gods of betrayal? Or are they like, programmed, bio-mechanical Vect android look-alikes?

In Path of the Archon it didn't know everything Vect knew, but it copied his way of speaking and acting perfectly, and knew all the plans that mattered at the time.

Yeah I've sort of thought it was obviously Yriel. Connections to both the Craftworlders, Commorrites and a solid connection to Harlequins (and Corsairs). Plus, he's a cool character already.

Would still like a bonafide Dark Eldar character release as well mind you...

Yeah, I can't see Vect being in this rumoured Triumvirate. If (please!!!) we get Vect back I would hope he would be on the Dais of Destruction. Plus he doesn't fit the description of the 3 Eldar in Fall of Cadia. I'm leaning more towards Yriel now, plus the Harlequin and Malys.

Now that would be a boxed set I'd buy in a heartbeat, and I don't usually buy named characters.

Especially if it includes Eldrad as well (although the 'Triumvirate' part suggests three...)

I have such a hard time imagining Vect fathering anyone. I mean I know this would've happened a long time ago but still, he seems like the kind of guy who wouldn't even "show up" for anything less than copulation on a pile of 10,000 of his intellectual equals, and that doesn't even exist. Let alone trying to hide that fact from a iyandeni princess.

Parentage aside Yriel is basically a dark eldar already. The spear is continually eating away his soul and is replenished when he kills. Though seemingly only when he kills his friends, since in the book, killing the give tyrant sapped his soul but accidentally murdering his best friend topped him off.
