I don't expect people to actually believe me, I'm just another schlub putting forward opinions on the matter. That particular one wasn't mine though, it was fed to me through a competitive group chat. Honestly I don't think I've ever made predictions on any previously published material before so yeah, guess we'll find out.

On that note, idk how to feel about Dark Eldar scatbikes. Or I guess they'd just be Aeldari scatbikes and you just pick your flavor? This is gonna take some getting used to.

All the rumors I saw today point to a group arising within the various Eldar factions called the Ynnari. With in this group there's something called the Exhumed. They want to resume they way the Eldar lived pre fall. Something about them manipulating dead Eldar souls. As one would imagine this shakes things up in Commorragh and the Craftworld.

There's more but, it's would either be spoilers if true or you'd want some serious salt. Oh, the word Drukhari came up dunno if that means anything.

Now that is rumor, philosophy, and playstyle that I am willing to buy into whole heartedly.


Then again since literally everyone who is toting the claim that "slaanesh stole ynnead's birthright" is parroting me without citing me for credit, we need to take everything with a grain of salt. or a tub.

"I think" it will just be a formations book that lets your take all 3 armies together in a "fall of Cadia" fluff style army, with 5-6 style decurion CAD's and another 6-7 basic formations. This will also have 6-9 new Narrative missions.

I concur and believe that these 2 leaks are akin to the cawl version of the war convocation, and and the Celestine formation that's on the following page, rather than Castellans of the imperium or the other "mixing detachment" as I've been referring to them as they aren't really decurions. They're traditional detachments like the RRD with some quasi-formation restrictions.

Oh and a new psychic table.

Im really interested in what they're going to do for psychic powers. If it buffs the freak show then my body is ready. Would they rework the psychic tables for each faction or just make a new "alliance" one?

How do you mean? Most likely it would be a new "ynneadmancy" or something like that and Shadowseers, Farseers, Warlocks, and spiritseers or some subset there of will get access to it in addition to their other tables. I guarantee that corsairs will be left out.

Corsairs are not GW in the traditional sense. Corsairs are what happens when FW realizes that the Dark Eldar codex is bad but people still want to use the models. There's a reason more than half their codex doesn't have representative models ready-made by the company. Those that do are plastic GW kits with new rules and options, or actually pretty cheap FW models.

Yeah that's about all I was asking. All psychic tables will stay the same with the possibility of a Ynnead one. A Ynneation proclamation.

I would hope it does buff freakshow builds. Yvraine I believe is confirmed to be a psyker. If they aren't releasing other new psykers, Exhumed or whatever, I assume it will be open to other Eldar factions.

Even the fluff for Corsairs is basically "These are Dark Eldar who got fed up with Vect's s***". They cast psychic powers recklessly as if they're out of practice, they're cruel and ruthless without being pointlessly so, they have ports in Commorragh while swearing allegiance or at least lip service to Craftworlds. They're the space elf pirates we always wanted who tie the two cultures together seamlessly.

I would think it's less about the Corsair's attitude to Commorragh and more about how they feel about Ynnead. Sounds like they wouldn't be against it.

Right. What TeenageAngst and I are saying, I think, is that it's a departmental branding issue. They are just providing quasi-alt-fluff as to why that is the case.

As for the rumours - I heard similar, the red guy is yriel however he actually dies defending a craftworld (not sure if bieltan or iyanden) and then is reborn again via the new psychic powers of the god of the dead

Eldrad getting put on trial is probably the most hilarious thing they could possibly do.

Maybe it is hardcore necromancy and the reason for her hair color change and abundance of soulstones on everything is that unlike our rejuvenation techniques their souls aren't actually in resonance to their bodies and the soul stones bind them more or less temporarily to those bodies, sort of like mobile-home golden thrones.
