| I like the face is a seperate peice. If I were to get two I'd just put a Wrack faceplate over one of them | |

I was so tempted to do something like that with the model. The face is a very thin piece. I thought it would be cool to just have it lying somewhere...

| Despite the high cost, they are surely stunning models. I can’t wait to hold myself of those coven boxes. Looking forward of the painting scheme that you have planned of them. Cheers! | |

Please do! While you're at it, spout off some new quotes for m signature! Putting together a little magnetization tutorial using these models. Hope to have it up mid-week.

| The pilots look great ESE. Gotta let us know easily the VR goes together... mine's arriving soon and I can't wait to put it together. Is there a lot of partial assembly, paint before you build involved? | |

The fit is a little tricky once you install the bombardier and pilot. I had a similar problem that I had with my RWJF with the engine intakes and weapon mounts making the top and bottom portions of the hull go together weird. Clip here, shave a part down there-it goes together fine. Really looking forward to spraying this bad boy after we record Splintermind Episode 3 on Saturday:twisted: I am STRONGLY leaning towards leaving the missile pods off on this model. I just can't see making this Armor 10 model 200+pts. I'll magnetize the pods, but I doubt they'll see the table unless I start spamming the hell out of flyers(which will never happen)

| I tried the missiles out on it yesterday, took the two of each option. implosion missiles - 1 missed (small templates are bad!) and the other killed 3 marines. so technically they made their points back, but I think for missiles I'd rather take the razorwing - the bomb is definitely worthwhile (though again last night it missed, dropped it on a unit that had just deepstruck so tightly bunched, and it scattered the full 6") so I'd say keep the voidraven basic. Use the bomb, and then ping away with those S9 lances (which took out a dreadnought, yay!) | |

| Hell yeah looks awesome ESE. I'll probably pass on the missile pods as well... I like to keep everything relatively basic and the primary weapons are more than enough with this bad bird. Can't wait to hear about your experiences with the model. I think this thing is going to be very useful... I'll be unveiling mine in an upcoming xenos vs. imperial campagin alongside my nightwing ::fingers-crossed:: | |

| Hey Kids-Don't Try This At Home Weird little thing with the canopy of the Void Raven: The relief for the frame is on the outside of the glass (just like forthe Razorwing/Venom). The Relief for the targeting runes is on the inside. Not thinking(as I can be prone to do), I used a brush on primer before realizing that the bottom layer(primer) is what you will see on the other side of the glass(outside). Realizing my mistake, I thought I'd make it worse by using an acrylic paint remover instead of a degreaser. This immediately fogged the whole damn thing over Rather than replace the whole thing(getting screwed on Ebay) I'm going to try to apply a colored tint using a teal wash and floor wax. Hopefully I'm not piling stupid on top of stupid before lighting it on fire? In other hobby news: We recorded the third episode of Splintermind today, and I bought some more toys that will get painted for the Monthly Vow. | |

| Ouch! I'll keep my fingers crossed it works for you!
Re: Voidraven missiles - i took the split missiles the other night and technically they made their points back against marines (just - killed about 70 points worth). That being said, I'd probably keep it clean next time i use it, and save the 50 points for something else.

| Dang too bad about the window ESE.... I'm really worried about handling that thing too. But tinting the window is easy and I'm sure it'll look great with your evocative paint scheme... I'm starting assembly of mine today which I'm not looking forward to. Damn fiddly Eldar models! | |

| Ouch, bad luck. I'd like to hear more about this tinting process though, could you give us a breakdown when you get to it please? | |
