Substitute ideas

I used the AoS Mistweaver Saih model and just changed the staff for another knife to make a lillith conversion as all of my wyches have the blank helmets (not sure what they're called)

I just painted my DT: Prison Nagas to be Sslyth. It doesn't have the shard carbine or pistol modeled but it's not like you have a choice in equipment or there's any way to mistake a snake-man for something else.

"Oh that snake-thing standing next to your Archon is one of those snake-thing bodyguards?! It would have changed everything if only I had known!"

I also used the backstabbers from Dungeon Twister as Lhamaeans, the banshees as Medusae, and I'm planning on using the giants as clawed fiends, and maybe the telepaths as warlocks.

I butchered it, yep. For me there is a difference between a "count as" and a conversion. I don't like using "count as", i like converting. And Sslyths have a reptile head in the W40k universe, so i wanted to convert it.

Also, Dungeon Twister Prison was one of my greatest disappointment in Board Game history. I really hated Christofer Boelinger for what he did to his amazing series (i'm over it now^^). As a fan of DT since the very beginning, Prison was totally uninteresting... so at least i'm doing something with it now

That's funny, I had the opposite experience. I had never heard of dungeon twister until I played Prison. A friend had a bunch of the expansions and I was disappointed to find out that all the other sets just had pogs as pieces.

I love doing conversions too, and have quite a few in my army. I considered some options with the DT stuff, but I decided I wanted the models to still fit in with the board game as well, so I figured 'counts as' would be the way to go with those models.
