- If I remember correctly an eldar autarch has honed their skills at all of the aspect shrines. So it would make sense that at some point a Male autarch trained and fought as a Banshee. However I'm not 100% certain on craftworld lore so correct me if I'm wrong.
They don't always do every aspect but they do spent time at the most common shrines of their particular Craftworld. They are then allowed to keep one piece of wargear from whatever shrine they have spent time in to use on the battlefield. Which has me wonder, what does an Autarch get to keep if he spends time as a Crimson Hunter? A flight-stick to keep as a memento? A bright lance/ starcannon to hang on the wall?

It's a big universe, after all. Anything is possible. Not a big deal at all in my opinion. Roughly, but a lot more males in the wych cults. Not that the kit should be something to go off of, but I think 4/10 of the wyches in a box are male.

| I mean I can't imagine it would be too hard to greenstuff some literal breast plate onto the new banshee model. | |

Well I'm curious to see what a full unit will look like, do all of the new banshees have these "small" (when compared to older miniatures) breasts or is this just the male miniatures? Is it a single torso or will there be both male and female versions like there are for Guardians, Troupes, Wyches, and Kabalites?

you can probably (hopefully) just swap the body with other banshees, like our wyches but GWs recent sculpts have me concerned

| Well we have another preview today judging from the 2 previous ones showing the same thing I wouldn't be surprised if its just 2 different torsos for the cool new banshees ^_^ | |

| It wouldn't hugely surprise me if the preview progression was Howling Banshee, Howling Banshee Exarch, Howling Banshee Phoenix Lord.
Fingers crossed it's something for us, though!

| Would be nice to see something for us.
Though honestly I'd settle for news on Hrlequins, Ynnari or really anything that isn't just more bloody Craftworlds.

| Gotta keep these previews in perspective, as I mentioned last week there's still loads of announced releases that all have to come before psychic awakening. At best I think we are looking at last week of October/first week of November release, and it could easily be later.
That being said, I would very much like to see something revealed that isn't a banshee. They are nice new plastic models, and man craftworlds needs plastic aspect warriors, but let's see something new.

| Hopefully, the Klaivex will get the 'list of 6 powers' treatment that the aspect warrior exarchs are getting, since they are the DE equivalent. | |

of course he will, just like our fliers are exactly as agile and our hqs as viable as their eldar counterpart

| Regardless of rules, I'm excited. First new model in ages, and boy the klaivex looks great. I imagine the rest of the unit will be awesome as well.
Out of 6 powers, yeah I'm reasonably confident one will be good.

| If I had 20, yeah I would probably feel the same way. I have 5, and I'm hoping the plastic ones look alright fielded alongside the old models. | |

| I have a bunch of unpainted finecast ones. The few times that I've used Incubi, I've just used my painted 3rd edition ones. So, I'll wait to see what the kit looks like before I buy in. Might just stick with painting up the finecast ones and buy the klaivex separately via ebay.

| Unless they go back to 4th/5th and you can mix/match their weapons along with better rules (Obsessions) i wont play them. | |

| They hardly need obsessions to be good. Black Heart and Poisoned Tongue would help them, but the other two do nothing for Incubi. Klaivex powers that buff the whole unit could be far more useful. | |

Im not saying it has to be obsessions, just anything else than what they are.

| While I felt only disappointment at the banshee miniatures I have to admit I think they did a good job on the Incubi*. The rules aren't really doing it for me though. I might pick a few up, right now I only have 10 of the metal 5th edition releases, I tried dealing with failcast for other things and couldn't stand them so never bought more. I might not use them but I'm not finding myself playing a whole lot these days but I think they would look nice for display.
To resend my earlier statements, I think the only named character we are getting is an update to Drahzar and that we will not get one of the dropped characters.
*Edit: Even if the cloth components don't make sense in conjuntion with one another. Why are the arm ribbons being blown back while the loincloth is still and static?

Im not saying it has to be obsessions, just anything else than what they are. I'm reasonably confident they will get something, GW doesn't often release new models and not give them some boosted rules, especially when they are coming out alongside a campaign book. Their stats might not change and they might just get klaivex powers, but we'll have to wait and see what those are.

| My guess is that they would have mentioned Klaivex powers in today's update if they were something that was getting introduced, but that doesn't mean Incubi as a whole aren't getting buffed. GW have to be aware that despite practically being the poster unit for a whole faction Incubi rarely hit the tabletop.
Hell, when the Ynnari White Dwarf update hit I saw more than a few people asking what that new unit being shown was.
