I do believe every vehicle in every subfaction will get PfP. Maybe even every unit in the codex. Probably we will see something similiar to combat doctrines - one rule in first page of the rules that says - special rules apply to all units, except *insert beasts here*.
It's possible, but I doubt it. It makes more sense to me as a trade off that Vehicles with PfP would be faction-specific to Black Heart given 8e.
That said, I am fully in favor of all vehicles getting PfP. Unfortunately, it's a lot easier for PfP 5's wounds rule to only benefit Coven (which involves dramatic changes to 1 or 2 units, not the whole book).

That wouldnt make sense in light of turn 5 buff, there are no degrading units in coven list, except for transports. I kinda doubt they would only buff coven transports and devised entire turn of buffs for this.
Design seems obvious. Turn 3 our transports must be in combat, shooting and fighting with rest of the army. Turn 5 grabbing objectives, if any survived.

It always have been like this. In 8th you would have (1) move, shoot, charge, (2) retreat, shoot, (3) move, shoot, charge.
Silencing shooty guys by charging with our veichles is the a-b-c of Drukhari's playstyle. In 9th is a bit tricky because it is a melee oriented edition, but still usefull against a lot of units and mandatory for winning games with this Codex

Sure: I just like the fact that now we get "boni" (bonuses) to do it!

Also worth mentioning that an army wide charge is now safer in 9th than in 8th after the change to overwatch rules.

Baiting overwatch with vehicles seems a lot better in 9th than 8th because of that. Still hoping we get assault vehicle rules, but charging with a venom or raider, baiting overwatch vs the vehicle wounds and saves, or forcing them to not use it, then trying to stay in combat and join it with melee troops seems like a really good idea. It also goes some way to locking the enemy out of points, especially if we can intercept units on their way to objectives. Sure, they can fall back, but that moves them AWAY from the point, not towards it.
I am still not keen on 9ths dependence on holding points and territory, but I am far happier grabbing secondaries while denying the enemy their primaries or secondaries. That seems very Drukhari - they step left, we step left, we stab them. They step right, we step right... and stab them.

Keep stabbing! Can’t wait till tomorrow. Coven and Transports are of interest and I’m looking forward to seeing the drugs chart to see what I can do Reavers.

I am starting to think that even if all they do is add some AP to hellions, they are going to be nasty. There are a lot of unknowns still, but with them bumping to 3 attacks, getting to choose their drug, and possibly still a +1 str obsession...they are already gonna be pretty ferocious. There could easily be a world where hellions are screaming across the board and absolutely wrecking faces on impact.

It would be fun to field some. Especially as I have never liked the beast master, and I am def fielding one in 9th, but with the Raging Heroes mantaray flyers as a stand in. If I have a squad of Hellions too, then they would also be manta-flyers. I dont play tournaments, and as they are bigger than Hellions, i dont think my friends will complain...

The mantas are a bit much for me, personally. The Raging Heroes stuff is always very nicely sculpted but I have never quite connected with the line. Plus, I love the hellion models (and converting hellion models), so I wouldnt bother going 3rd party on them.

Hey, there is a picture of some Dark Eldar in there, so I am sure SOME people here will consider that a win!

Come on mate. I know there was some hostility yesterday, but thats unnecessarily antagonistic. We have all been told to take a chill pill, lets not try and stir others into throwing up theirs.

What the hell? 0 cp is great, but in reality this is only a good strat to use on transhuman.
But MUCH better than the old vect, ammirite?
What other strats are used every turn?

It's entirely possible that the counterstrat ability has become a generic, non-subfaction locked ability and the strat seems pretty solid taken on its own merits.

Raging heroes are super cool but I must be getting old because they can be a little too naked for my liking lol I haven’t got the experience necessary to paint realistic nipples!

I am also not a fan of the super naked ones. And I will be painting these in bodysuits probably.
Their archon with pistol and sword with basically an incubi helmet is super fitting though, and there are several models that would make good succi stand ins! Works well for my (effectively) all female DE army (lots of male torsos on the troops, but who can tell in armour? All the HQs are clearly, and tastefully, female).

Take it with a grain of salt, but rumour is that Raiders have moved to capacity 11.

Ok so potentially AoV is not able to stop a strat going off but makes it more expensive for the rest of the battle and it’s free to use?
It’s obviously weaker but then it’s free to use and AoV was quite expensive to use. Let’s hope there are some strong strats we will be able to use the spare cp on.
I’m 50/50 on this one. AoV was indeed something that made us stand out but it was also quite obnoxious. Other armies do have obnoxious units/rules...everyone having fun should really be the main aim.
