| I still can't believe how amazing those helmets look man, excellent job. I'm sorry but I am going to attempt to steal that idea. The incubi and raider are also stunning, can't wait to see the finished army, yours is probably my favourite paint scheme I have come across for a DE army. Top effort mate. | |

| This must be the most gloomy, menacing and evil looking Dark Eldar army I have ever seen. Just amazing work, I love it! Whenever I'm not in the mood to paint, I just look at your minis and I immediatly want to work on my army again. Can't wait to see what's coming next. | |

| Agreed.
One of the best "dark" DE-armies I've seen.

It's ok to be smug when you can back it up.

| Oh my America, let the buffet begin! I have to say, you have captured to cold dark feel and the colors perfectly. Inspirational! I want to go home and work on mine right now, but I just started my work day, so now I must fidget until I can get to my paint desk. Did I mention I regularly check your blog for more "creative ideas". Very nice. | |

| Wow this is hands down the "darkest" (pardon the pun ) DE scheme I have ever seen! P.S.-I'm not sure if I have posted on this log before I'm sorry if I have. | |

| The blood slicked ground and corresponding 'soak' on the cloth is awesome!
Succubus in particular is very menacing!

| Wow! I've just spent my lunch break at work drooling over these absolutely stunning paintjob's and now I'm hungry for more! Fantastic work mate. Their dark, brooding and pretty - just like Dark Eldar should be! Any chance of a group shot on the Wyches? EDIT: Just seen one on your blog - great stuff! | |

| Sweet Jesus! These are by far the most breath taking miniatures I've ever seen, not just dark eldar ones. I will defo be stealing the glossy helm and shock prow effects. I dub thee my dark muse. sorry if that sounded a little homo-erotic...

| Well I got half as much done this weekend as I would have liked. But here's the Ravager I promised, not sure I'm happy with it atm, but that might be because it was stupidly Labour intensive. More pics on the blog (sigged) | |

| I like it very much.
It is lacking any emotion, just cold and unfeeling. its like a floating surgical table. I am quite impressed.
I went to look at the other picts to see if I can offer any help.
All I really see is maybe the prow could use a tiny bit more shade under the "eye" glyph, but that is really just a quibble.
It might be that the blood on the blade vanes is drawing the attention away from the rest of the model. Maybe some chains with blood on them would help balance it?
its such a great model it makes it really hard to offer any real thoughts other than "WOW....WOW WOW WOW"

| Lol 'floating surgical table' must be doing something right then , Reavers are on the block atm hope to have pictures of finished squad up tomorrow.
I'm not really sure how you further 'shade' black It's prob just my lighting, seems fie in hand, but appreciate the critique , don't stop ;o)
Agin photos from the angles I take them will tend to show the vanes far more than how you see it IRL (mostly from an elevated veiwpoint) so it's probably only a problem when being veiwed as a photo, damn you , I'll be staring at it and wondering for days now , lol
Cheers | |
