Duke, Baron, Vect, Grotesques and Voidraven due October/November

I know there have been rumours about the void raven, and some possible character releases, here are some more details from faeit:

Grots don't have many options as it is, so my first thought was that this simply means more poses. That would be nice enough (if I hadn't already converted some rat ogres), but does anyone think there's any possibility of a Codex update that actually means more options? Wishful thinking probably...

Thanks for posting that here. Very similar to what Stickmonkey told me except for he didn't mention the grotesques. He said Oct/Nov for that and with CSM in October then November is looking very likely it seems. Merging new thread with old.

Thanks Sky, I thought there would be an existing thread couldn't find it though (as the void raven and DE character rumours had been mentioned before).

According to this massive spill list on Warseer, we're not getting Grotesques till at least the latter half of next year :

Sets off my BS meter. First of all, this is supposedly the 40k & Hobbit releases for the 3rd & 4th quarters of 2013? That's way, way more stuff than GW releases in two quarters for all three of their games.

The Space Marine, Eldar, and Ork stuff alone is enough for first and second waves for new codices for all three - in a six month period?

IF (big IF) GW does speed up their release rate, I could potentially see them going from a 40k codex every six months to a 40k codex every 4 months. But to get this stuff out they would be releasing a 40k codex every other month, which is half again as fast as they release books for 40k and Fantasy combined.

It basically looks like someone combined various "spilled release lists" together and added some wish-listing, then studied actual release lists to ensure their codes looked legit. But I just don't buy GW releasing that much 40k stuff in six months. I don't buy GW releasing that mauch stuff in six months period.

It'll certainly get tongues wagging for a while though! If something seems too good to be true it probably isn't.

Personally I'd rather GW gave us an idea of what's coming over the next 6 months than put up with this daft info black out.
