Kabal Discussion

Do we want to link to posts collecting the fluff of the official Kabals? LilLoser has posted the official fluff for quite a few of the Kabals, and I think it would be a good idea to provide a little more context than just the name.

I've been talking with him over PM. I'd like the formatting to match that of the Lexicanum before I start replacing the hyperlinks.

Example:

Archon(s): (Obviously the Archons' names go here.)
Home District: (If fleet based, it would say "Fleet-based.")
Colors: (The primary colors of the Kabal.)

Background: (The background section. ALL background information MUST be canon or it will get beat with the modstick).

Art: (Images of the Kabal's image, paint scheme, etc.)


ALSO....

Should Lil'Loser's and Spanna uv Komor-AAAGH's work be hosted under the Kabal sub-forum or in the background sub-forum. I want your guys' opinions.

Background is more of a Dark Eldar General Fluff forum, Kabals and such should stay here, I think.

So I should move 'em on over you think?

They belong in Kabals of Commorragh. If its general Kabal stuff like how kabals are structured or how wych cults get members than it belongs in background but if its Kabal-specific information it belongs here. Granted, if they get moved to background I won't move em back here but I think they belong here.

Noted, and I'll just scurry away to correct the one I have up so far. I've got seven others from that same article I've saved on the way.

Awesome. This way too, we can keep our traffic internal as opposed to giving the Lexanicum unneeded traffic as well as not having to worry about the Wikifools.

I don't know if he's the high Archon or one of the lower ones, but it's something. ^^;

Probably thread-nomancing here, but can you add my kabal: the Kabal of the Bloodied Rose,

Archon: Shae Bloodkiss, status Active,

Im writing the fluff in aother topic as I type this.

Maybe my eyes fail me, but i haven't seen the Kabal mentioned in the Nid Codex (pg. 38, fighting hivefleet hydra).
I am not sure what it is named in english, poisend talon?

In English it's the Kabal of the Poisoned Fang - it's in Xelkireth's index already, but he doesn't have the updated info from the 5th ed. Tyranid Codex.

As you mention in your Kabal's own thread, some of them boarded Hydra's vessels for specimens to give to their Haemonculi. The dormant Tyranids awoke and every DE aboard a bio-ship was killed, while the Hive Fleet itself slaughtered the fleeing DE ships.

Well... since i found out what name my kabal wears, i ddi a little research. Of cause, first stop was the first page of this thread and i found the Status of the Kabal wierd. "Absorbed by the Splintered Claw. Source: Codex, 3rd Edition". I dragged out my old codex and tried to find thisa nd failed. can some one point me out to that page?

Just been through my old white dwarfs from when 3rd edition was released, uncovered the following.
Kabal of the bloodied claw – wd228 p60
Dark Lord Azaran of the seventh Kabal – wd228 p62
Kabal of the broken soul – wd234 p33

No more info than that supplied though I'm afraid, archons, status etc.
