Nice. I wonder if the formation we get is going to be worth anything, assuming we get a formation..

Even if the formation isn't great the box will likely be good value for money. So far the boxes seem to be good value, the Tempestus one especially

Well a Formation that makes Myches awesome would help them sell some models.

No Wyches in the box so that isn't happening.

Our new formation will allow the archon an extra 1" on his run move. For Dark Eldar, that is pretty overpowered.

The Eldar formation will allow all jetbikes (including the farseers) to shoot with the same weapon profile as the Fireprism if they are within 24" of it.

Too bad the the only model I would need are the reavers. Now just make the formation useful and I'll buy Reavers and maybe a start collecting box.

Wait...what? You mean that formation let's jetbikes fire as if they have a prism cannon if they're within 24" of the prism cannon? Hahaha, if that's true I'm buying a fire prism for the first time ever. #InBeforeTournamentBan

I think he's being facetious. (The fact that some people see those as being ACTUAL possibilities says a lot about the current state of the armies...)

IF this is true, I will be floored. So far they have not made a Get Started box with all good units (except maybe the Tau one). All 4 of these things are actually good. I was expecting Wyches instead of warriors at the very least.

Any hint as to what the formation benefits are? A boost to staples such as warriors/archon would be nice. Reavers with any sort of buff will be nuts.

You could actually pick up a couple of these and have a more-or-less out of the box army to play. Two boxes would be under 750 points I think (ballparking). Would be interested in some starter army ideas based around this set.

I think it would be nice to be able to fire at full BS after jinking on the Raider, but that doesn't seem likely.

The formation is called the Purge Coterie, no other information other than that. My money is on the Archon being able to ride as an extra in the Raider and other than that, extra turbo boost? Shoot and turbo boost? A las it will be plus one to run.

I'd love to bump transport capacity to 11 with an Archon! Not a big splash in the pool, but I'd take it. Hell, I'd love to explode every raider transport to 12! That's a formation I'd run every game.
Otherwise, I was expecting and/or wishfully hoping for some night rules shenanigans. "Purge Coterie" does sound a lot more like "killy killy with swarmy stuff" than "strike out of the depths of night and not 6:05 am" though.

The starter box is really nice, no place for the Archon but eh its for starters you can buy him a venom later on

The formation bonus Im hoping is ignore Jink penalties.
