free reroll to hit is nice... blast pistols or blasters on kabalites come to mind. But overall, sub-par to poisoned tongue.

If I put on my optimistic, lucky condom I could maybe, MAYBE see the scourges getting a rule that let's them ignore the penalty. Like Sisters retributors, or Havocs
Nevermind, the scourge sheet leaked

The heat lance is heavy now?? And the haywire blaster? It’s safe to say I didn’t see that coming. That leaves scourges in a really weird place. I don’t get it.
Some here were convinced that our boats had lost their invul saves, so I’m glad to see that they were wrong. And about the transport capacities too! Very happy to see that change.
Hilarious that the archite glaive is still 1 damage. I guess GW want succubi to cause death by 1000 (or like 6) cuts.
In some respects when I visualise Wyches fighting I think of one of those kung fu or samurai film scenes where they attack so fast and so graceful that you don’t see the blows landing but the guy falls into several pieces. So not so much finishing move type of attack but more a flurry or small attacks. So I’m cool with them having loads of D1 attacks.

The Writ was already a lieutenant aura for your Archon. If anything the writ is slightly stronger in that it works for mercs if you're in a realspace raid detachment.
(Though in full context it's generally weaker since Ravagers can't benefit from the to-hit buff, and that's really where the Writ used to shine)

The Writ of the Living Muse is "a lieutenant aura for your Archon", it's probably the same name.

Incubi tormentors causing fight-last if you beat Ld on 2d6 is greeeaaaat. Fight last abilities are seriously powerful. I think BH sounds better than PT if we can reroll dark lance (or to a slightly lesser extent, blaster) misses for free.

It is still so frak funny to me that the Marines can field a captain with thunder hammer and jump pack, while they are not included in any captain box/ blister
But the only model in our codex that can take a power lance is the Solarite lol
And the Archon is too arrogant to use good weapons

So scourges are 100% only going to be using shredders. Guess that makes the 18" range buff decent, as it is the only weapon they can take and be useful.

Wait is the heat lance’s damage 2+d6 at the full 18”? That’s better than I first realised. Gutted it’s heavy though.

Oh man!!!! Shredders no longer REROLL TO WOUND!
Still need to know what "blade artists" is.
So with shredders nerfed into the ground and almost all other weapons heavy, I don't plan on seeing many scourges on the board.

Urien ressurects on a 2+ after death with d3 wounds remaining. Gives +1 S, T and L to Prophets of Flesh.

Blade Artists is the big unknown still. I'm very suspicious that we're going to have a way to ignore the heavy penalty - it's very noticeable that a lot of weapons have gained heavy, and Dark Lances have lost the "treat as assault if mounted on a vehicle" rule. That feels very contrary to our faction identity without a way to mitigate it.

that would be amazing but the name suggests something cc oriented (again)...

I'm leaning towards "every roll of a 6 to wound is at a bonus -1 AP" or "every roll of a 6 to wound does +1 damage"

From another site:
There is a Succubus and Haemy equivalent to the Master Archon. Haemy gains an ability to return to life like Saint Celestine, a nasty once-per-battle relic (D3 mortals on 2+, the unit loses Aura abilities and can't benefit from Auras till your next turn) and his Warlord Trait lets him ressurect Wracks, Super-Succubus consolidates at 6' and does not have to finish closer to an enemy models (which is crazy ass balls) brutal Artifact Weapon (+2 S, -4 AP, D2, wounds 6+ ignore invulnerable saves) and a Warlord Trait that allows her to switch out her normal Attacks for 3+number of enemy models 2' around her.
Bloodbraids return - as Trueborn, one unit, they have WS 2+, bonus Ld and upgraded Blade Artists (6+ to wound gain -1 AP, bloodbraids gain -3 AP), wracks also get one unit like this Haemoxytes - +1 Inv save, bigger Ld and once per phase, they ignore damage from a first failed saving throw.
