I'm not surprised, but still vaguely disappointed that the new Haemonculus comes with no optional/extra arms. For the increased price I was at least hoping for extra weapons(ossefactor thingy maybe?)

Unless their removing it from the Haemi's choices, it should really come with the option of a liquifier.

Does the new haemonculus not get any extra items?

Yes, you are right.  It is a busy sprue, but the apparent lack of options is disappointing.  $31 in Canada, he better rock the house rules-wise.

Well, sure, but liquifier is the go-to upgrade. I guess we'll just have to use the wrack sprue for kitbashes (wouldn't surprise me if that was the intention).

So we buy a 5 man wrack kit, loose 2 of them as crew members for raider/venom, and loose the liquifier for the haemonculus, leaving us with a hex rifle(still possibly a heavy weapon) and a ossefactor, whatever that is.
Seems a bit tight. But very GW.

Even though I just finished the paint job on my kitbashed Grotesques, I fully agree. I guess the Bane-like character rumoured some months ago is off the table too, then, because it would just make too much sense as an equivalent too the Bullgryn/Ogryn/Nork Deddogg kit.Or the MegaNobz/Big Mek kit for that matter...

anyone thin the new heimy might actually be a character whose name they have not released? that would explain the lack of wargear options. I forget the name and i do not have my codex handy but wasn't there a heimy called the master of pain? what was his name?

They wouldn't have gotten rid off the oldish haemy model if this one was just a character

I find Cruddace an okay author. Frankly, with Ward's removal, I'm reasonably emotionally comfortable with all of the current authors. We'll probably get okay fluff and stand a decent random chance of not having derp rules. But even Kelly has shown the ability to flub up rules - I really think that aspect is total die roll of chance regardless of primary author.

I mean, even the current Dex, which I think is good. Has a bomber that's a fighter, a fighter that's a bomber, some really bad point total logistics for multiple weapons and upgrades, and the joy that is the ultimate wych who can't duel, the ultimate headhunter who can't headhunt, and the shadowy super assassins who can't do anything.
