| My tau buddy says he thinks they are getting the ad mech treatment according to some source (I don’t have it)
I hope they don’t do that.

Sense is the correct word here. Since is used in sentences like: I play Dark Eldar since 2013. Or I like english since i suck at math

Exactly yeah. Ad mech players in general weren’t happy with their dex.

Exactly yeah. Ad mech players in general weren’t happy with their dex. I say GK is still last, then AdMech... sad IMO GK, AdMech and the SM codex all needs to be redone, but after everyone gets a codex.

| Ad Mech are a ridiculously new faction, it's not surprising that they might have limited options (sorry, Ad Mech players).
We're in a weird position where we used to have a lot more options that got stripped from us in our last Codex, so it'll be interesting to see how we get handled.

| Fingers crossed that there will be a warhammer community article today to clear up what exactly the release schedule will be. If we're lucky the dex could be out for preorder as early as this Saturday, but I suspect that won't be the case since we've had 2 codexes already in the last two weeks. | |

The index took some more away too.... Well, yeah, but that was true for literally every faction. The Indexes were always sold as stop gap rules that were very incomplete.

English is weird, it can be understood through tough thorough thought though xD Ok sorry for going off topic, i will cease now. Really looking forward to the Codex and hoping it will be as cool as the Tyranid one and arrive ASAP!

| Cool! I've always wanted Scourge Wings. Will you give me Scourge Wings? I think every Archon should be able to get Scourge Wings! | |

| Talking of Scourge...I was wondering.
1. Imagine if we got a re-roll to wound stratagem.
2. Imagine Heat Lances got a points reduction.
Would you take a Heat Lance Scourge squad if they cost a little less and could re-roll wounds once per battle?

| I don't think anything would convince me to take heat lances with this editions melta rules | |

Depends on points and stratagems/traits My SOB LOVES Melta pistols, but i have jump squads with 4 pistols (2 on 2 girls) and 4-5 extra bodies as wounds. Why do i like this? B.c i can pick either move 24" a turn or shoot 2x a turn. when you can move out of cover over 5 units on top on a vehicle shoot 4 melta in range and then charge it if it doesnt die, then shoot 2x the next turn all for 90pts? If Scourges go down to 12pts and HL are 8pts, and you can move a 2nd time for 1cp like tyrnids and some powers of quins/cwe, i would take them for sure, 90-100 pts to get 4 lances on top of an important high wound count unit? yes please. BUT... with that said, Blasters and lances most likely will be better lol

Are they doing one today? Not to my knowledge, but it seems pretty standard for GW to put up an article early in the week detailing what the coming Saturday's preorders will be so I'm hopeful that today we'll at least know if our codex is coming this Saturday or not. I find they tend to put articles up in the afternoon (EST), so we have a couple hours left to see if they'll post something today.

| My main problem with the heat lances stems from their strenth, making them wound most vehicles on 5's, but last edition the melta rule and lance rule allowed them to wound fairly easily when within melta range | |

| If a vehicle takes damage from a haywire weapon, it degrades one profile step for the following turn. I'd like that! | |

| That would work well. The alternative is haywire weapons need to just deal more damage to vehicles, say d3 mortal wounds on a +4, d6 or a straight up 3 on a 6. Combined with maybe a +1 to wound stratagem for scourges that would be a lot more potent.
edit: I missed that there was an AoS yesterday on warhammer community detailing next weeks preorders, so anymore news on our codex will delayed by at least another week, maybe two if the Legion of Nagash release is going for more than a week. Not too surprising considering we just had two new 40k codexes back to back, so a third would have been a bit much.

Being pessimistic, I think we're unlikely to see the major rule changes that we were hoping for on some of our weapons and units. The requested points tweaks are much more likely.
