"Death from the Skies" (26€, mail order only, chance of being in English only). More when I know more. But it certainly sounds like a flyer supplement.

| I fear for our beloved Void Raven. The most recent flyer, the DA Dark Talon/Nephilim is Cdn$90.00 and the WoC Slaughterbrute/Vortex Beast that went up for advance order today is Cdn$100.00! The Razorwing is still at Cdn$54.50, but I fully expect the VR (if it does appear) to be up there with the DA flyer.

| Me and my wife are expecting... The child will have to wait, first I need a VR. The baby will understand when it's older right? | |

Such is the fate of duo kits, especially ones of such grandeur as Slaughterbrute/Vortex brute. Those massive, spare details to create two sharply distinctive monsters mean lots of extra sprues, which in turn mean lots of horribly expensive molds needed. I've pretty much noticed the pattern of "the more sprues there are in a release post 2010, the more it costs", because the amount of tiny bits they stuff on their sprues nowadays is quite impressive. And I imagine not cheap to produce either. For example, compare the amount of sprues in regular Terminators, then Space Wolf Terminators, then the new and flashy Deathwing Command squad. Then look at the price. That's my observation that seems to rather accurately spread across all GW kits. If Voidraven is a single kit, I predict its price to be about the same as Razorwing. Of course, they could also just make it cost much more just cause they can...

| Good point Siticus and a welcome change to the one-pointed price discussions. I hope you're right. | |

| According to BoLS, the flyer supplement will feature reprint of all flyers that currently have rules/models, updated to 6th edition, and the flyer special rules from the Crusade of Fire campaign book. Voidraven will apparently be in it. I hope updating flyers to 6th edition doesn't just mean taking the codex entry and replacing "skimmer, fast" with "flyer", as this would be a perfect chanse to do things like give out flyers vector dancer (seeing how every Forgeworld Eldar/Dark Eldar flyer has it) and make Vendetta and Nightscythe actually have a reasonable cost. | |

Yeah, I really, really want to see Vendetta cost AT LEAST 160 points, and Night Scythe at least 130-140. They are just too damn good for their current 130 and 110 points (110 points for a flyer transport, why), when most other flyers are 145 at the least.

| Vendetta should really be closer to 200, considering it's a flying AV12 transport with three twinlinked lascannons. The main problem with Nightscythe isn't really the price (tho it is somewhat undercosted), but the fatc you can get them as transports for your troops, allowing them to be spammed in ridiculous numbers. | |

| I'd like to see the Dark Eldar get their Acepilot option. On the other hand I'd feel slightly cheated if they'd get all the flyer rules from the limited edition campaign book from a while back. Vector strike for the Razorwing wouldn't be a bad option, they're former reavers after all. | |

| Hope they reduce the points cost of the raven strike fighter, if its in the reported flyer update. Will it be as its a forge thing? Not a regular GW model, would be nice to free up a heavy slot | |

| If the VR kit is going to be a dual kit that makes both the RW and VR, it will either need a resculpt or be pretty much exactly the same, with different weapons and fins maybe.
Either that, or a seperate kit allowing for a different shape and a bomb mount on the belly

| I wouldnt put my money on it comming out, but if it is then it should be a new kit. On the rules and stuff for VR and RW to actually make then viable and DE viable to take AA they should be moved to Fast Attack section. Its actually rediculess that they isnt allready, and that our fast attack slots actually are slower than the rest -.- | |

| The scourges are slow if you compare it with the rest. But Beasts and Reavers are fast (but I would love to see Reavers as troops). If GW would put both flyers into FA we had 5 unit FA and only 3 HV. The Voidraven with armour 11 is (for DE) a heavy vehicle. It belongs into HS. But with moving just the RW into FA (like the extreme strong vector dancing Eldar Nightwing) it would be 4 FA to 4 HS. | |

| Yup... true.. but not going to happen, only way it would happen is if GW did see the sales numbers for RW and VR was low, then moving it to FA to get the sales to go up. | |

That would be so broken it's not even funny. If that would ever happen I would buy me alot of new reavers. Actually even I do think reavers are a solid choice in 6th ed.

| I have still 27 old reavers from the 3th Edition plus a few Eldar Jetbikes. In the next weeks I will repaint them all and will try out a Venom, Eldar Jetbike, Dark Eldar Jetbike army (and if are points left - RZ or VR for heavy support). Last rumours sad 16. february for the flyer book. I can't wait and hope the best (or just vector dancer). | |

| Would be nice to see a combined force of Eldar/DE with Venoms, Vypers, Guardian Jetbikes, Reavers and a Jetseer Council.
2 Archons each with a Court in a Venom 3 Elite choices in Venoms 6 Troop choices in Venoms 3x9 Reavers Jetseer Council 2x12 Guardian Jetbike Squads 3 Vypers

Once I get them all painted up again stripped them a few months ago and I'm sad to say they are still sitting around with only a base coat.

Seems like no rule updates. Just the rules as is, but then in a very expansive book.
