| From what I could squint from the tiny pictures of codex entries in my WD, it seems Wraithguard no longer have the Wraithsight rule! Hooray. The rule was just an annoyance, as I always forgot about it completely.
Also, it's not a new Avatar, just a conversion with two Wailing Dooms and repositioned arms.

| Ahhh, thanks! Wraithblades at AP3. Still worth it IMHO. The axe option with AP2 is also very viable. Those fliers: heavy on the points! | |

| I saw some pics on another site. (is there a reason we cant put them here; curious is all - i really only check this site for 40k stuff because I am a Dark Eldar) I am pretty excited about what I have seen. I am assuming that the Wraithguard / Wraith Blades will be the same kit with different arm choices; I am really hoping that they are as big as they look and can be magnetized with ease. (Wouldn't that be wonderful?) I am p-lanning on sculpiting an edge along the helmets similar to the Reaver Jet Bike helmets on the Wraiths heads. Also I saw the Spiritseer model as well and thought that looked cool too. I want to see it in person but plastic Farseer might be cool but not sure how to use him. | |

| As per rule #6 I think it's better if we don't put pictures on here directly (looking at my fellow mods). We don't want unwanted attention in that manner from certain organisations. But I don't see the harm in a link to the site that posted the pictures. As long as you don't violate rule #8a. Also take care not to violate rule #2. Having said that, post the link to what you are excited about dude. Stop teasing. | |

the crimson hunter is better at AA (and he is FA)the void raven is better at killing tank and we dont need AI in HS slots You still need Eldar HQ plus a troop choice to get the new fighter in a DE force. We have been able to ally in vendettas since the beginning of 6th (along with a bunch of other different flyers if you fancied it), so the availability of a better flyer is nothing new. I know they aren't battle brothers, but with an allied flyer that isn't much of an issue. Not needing AI in heavy support is too general - it depends on your list makeup. A DE player recently reported great success with wyches as their main AT threat. Plus I think we should wait until someone has the codex in hand before we can say for sure how good the crimson hunter will really be (though I think it is looking pretty good). Razorwing not dead yet...

| The razorwing was never made for AA in the first place. The Void Raven is our surperior fighter (dont let the name "bomber" and "fighter" fool you... its the other way around) The razorwing was always about bringing free missiles to the table for AI purposes. If you ever used it as a AA fighter and could of just gotten a void raven for the same price... there is something wrong with you | |

| And the advance orders are online! Also, not sure if someone else found this already, but according to the digital codex screenshots, Fire Dragons have had a 7pt point increase per model and have a 3+ armour save! Also, the Exarch now has access to the Iron Resolve, Crushing Blow and Fast Shot powers, whatever they mean. No other changes. Fire Dragons now cost as much as Incubi! Looking at the sample iPad Codex, Warp Spiders cost three points less than Fire Dragons and their Exarch may twin-link his Monofilament Blaster, or take some kind of Spinneret Rifle. Remnants of Glory: - the Spirit Stone of Anath'lan - the Phoenix Gem - Uldanorethi Long Rifle - Faolchú's Wing - Firesabre - Mantle of the Laughing God - Shard of Anaris Vehicle Equipment: - Ghostwalk Matrix - Spirit Stones - Holo-Fields - Star Engines - Vectored Engines - Crystal Targetting Matrix | |

| I can't wait for this release. ordered the codex, spiritseer, 1 flyers, 2 wraith guard boxes, 1 wraith knight, psyc cards. for American prices so that makes me happy.
I may still ally Dark Eldar in Eldar. prob the Baron, giant beast pack and 2 units of kabalites in venoms. Well depending if this will help the elder out.
I do love the evil ones. the good ones are almost as cool

Let's face it, they were always under-priced and are still worth the points! Overall I am giddy about the new wargear/models

| Of interest to me at the moment is that Shuriken catapults on Guardians have not had a range increase, which, as far as I can see, continues to make them crap - and certainly unfitting of the right battlefield role for cherished citizens of a dying race. | |

| I really think most there is extremely pleasant; the wraithguard, wraithfighter, farseer, spiritseer - all things look so good. Not really sure though about what I think of the knight. A little too expensive for me and not as attractive as I thought the Riptide was at first, but I suppose I will buy it sooner or later anyway... | |

I dont know, doesnt seems very important to me. The way guardians are usually played it is enemy coming to them, not the other way around. 20 man pew pew from weapon platform on objective. And if you want something go the enemy, that something usually should have to stick in Serpent, and DA is way ahead of guardians here.

| Perhaps guardians with a warlock with the primus conceal for shrouded could make them more useful. Depending on points costs that is | |

| Hmm...gonna clean up my Dire Avengers. Never hoped Shuriken actually will got rending. Well it is called Bladestorm and do not affect Vehicles, but it is still rending.
That probably explain terrible price hike. 17 pounds increse to buy 10 man.
