OMG I love the model of Voidraven. So cool. Let me leave aside its usefulness

Meh the new model is nothing new. If you google a picture for a Voidraven, you will find first of all a conversion made from 2 razorwings. 4 engines 2 cockpits huge bulky body etc (very coll conversion i think). New GW model looks the same, except it has only 1 cockpit.

It has in fact 2 cockpits, the lines are better done and has secondary wings on the neck. Its definitelly better than the conversion IMHO. And cheaper than 2x Ravenwing. :-)

Maybe GW inspired by them?

P.S. Agree on price. Original model would be far cheaper than a good conversion

I actually prefer the two linked conversions to the official model.

The latter of which was made by The Dark City's very own Gobsmakked.

Is it in fact a three week release rather than two?

It has to be, there is no sign of Vect yet.

If you look back at the Space Wolves and Orks releases, the codex wasn't mentioned on WD covers either, just the new models that were released that week.

And what do you guys think abot Kabalite Skysplinter and Wych Swiftshard?
Both are mentioned as combo box and cost 45 euro each

What they could be? Repack of old wyches\kabalites?
They cost exactly as Dark elves withces combo box.

Voidraven looks ok. Not great, but ok. Il buy one, just because i have 2 Razorwings. They will complement each other nicely.

Aaaand. Codex Dracon and Archon Edition. Archon edition have binding with human skin....yeeeees. Looks nice ))

P.S. Swiftshard is indeed warrior and wych box + raider. No extra crew.

Obviously we need FNP turn 3 so that we can recover from our horrendous losses on turn 1-2. And, no, of course we can't have FNP before then to prevent those losses. Now you're just being silly.

Cheers Erebus! And the first conversion was made by our very own Black Death, which looks remarkably similar to GW's.

I do like the official Void Raven, but I also wish it was it was bit more distinctive from the RW. I do prefer my own, for obvious, personal reasons, and probably won't get a new one just because I don't see myself using two.

As for the cost of converting one, I purchased two RW hulls, one Venom hull, and the other parts that I needed from an online bitz supplier. All up, it cost me 15% more than my regular RW, and I had enough parts left over to make a modifiied venom.
