I didn't say I WILL do it, or that I INTEND to do it. Neither that I or anybody else SHOULD do it. At this point, I can say it here.

There's rumor on Advanced Tau Tactica that Codex Tau will go on preorder March 10, with a March 17 release.

On FB gw said to me "Next codex release info on Sunday" this was the other night, so IDK if thats this Sunday, next Sunday, or what.

"As we've said though, we'll be doing it in a Sunday pre-order preview in the first instance."

Looked it up, might mean 100% nothing then. so nevermind.

So glad that GW decided to state the next three codexes, then take a month and a half off

Then spread false info at the LVO rather then simply putting out an official statement. I think the community team is a great bunch, but they are not given quality information to disseminate at all and often put their foot in their mouths.

Or they changed it. Some problem could have came up and needed to be addressed.

How so? What information was false? They announced that the next three codex releases, gave no dates or order. Am I missing something?

The fact is, we have no transcript of what was said. I know people there who say that they said Dark Eldar are next, but no one can actually quote them. I find it odd there are no videos of the event!

Nobody I know that was there heard that. I believe BoLS reported that live in a blog post, though I could be mistaken. I'm not buying us being next.

I don't believe it either, especially as they have leaked the french WD announcement of pre orders- historically that has been a reliable source.

The Independent Characters seem to think Drukhari are up next (from 31:30 - 32:10 podcast 167).

I'm getting out of the hype train. I believe we were first on LVO's presentation, because races where arranged alphabetically. Let's assume we'll have our codex in late April. No more refreshing community page on Sunday...

Welp, T comes after N so it wasn't done alphabetically at the LVO presentation. But let's just blame it on BOLS for live tweeting us information we would have had to wait on otherwise. It feels like most of you just want something to complain about.

So our codex will be out in what...? May?

No idea when our codex could drop should this be true. Would defintely take the news with salt, but could potentially be true, especially if GW keeps taking time off 40k releases

But on the other hand, we might get a nice christmas release. And buy some shiny new Craftworld models that we can use in a joined Ynnari army
