Nobody I know that was there heard that. I believe BoLS reported that live in a blog post, though I could be mistaken. I'm not buying us being next.

In theory could they fit drukhari before tau? If they announce this sunday then pre order on 3rd, sale on 10th. Tau announce on 4th, pre order on 10th. Is there a precedent for such a tight release schedule?

There is, but it's unlikely in this situation - the Daughters of Khaine are probably getting two weeks of releases. Preorders for Morathi this weekend, preorders for harpies and snakewomen on the 3rd.

Out of recent tournaments (with official GW presence) I'm hearing strong rumours of Tau next.

We just had a tournament not long ago here in the US with strong rumors of DE next......./flips table

It seems we really need some clarity on the release date.

Don't ask me where I heard this as I can't remember. Either one of you lot on here or from a tourn' I was also recently at. That something on the 7Th @Burnage may be Harlequins which somewhat fits what I heard of True Kin and clowns together

I appreciate that you believe my theory of six weeks is correct and that you agree with my idea of release schedule, but please let’s make clear that this is JUST AN IDEA NOT BASED ON ANY SERIOUS RUMOR.

Oh don't worry I don't believe any of you until I see something concrete. It just funnily enough fits what I heard.

This isn't quite true - there were several rumours before LVO that we'd be seeing the Dark Eldar and Harlequin Codex in April, and there are some very strong rumours now that Tau are up for preorder on the 10th (which I've swapped around in that post with the Necrons now). There are also rumours that we'll be seeing two or three boxed games of some sort in March.

Multiple grains of salt still needed, of course.

Well, that's disappointing, it's a shame GW didn't just tell us that from the beginning, though

I think, if three books are coming in succession like this, its the LAST of those three most likely to get new model releases.

I base this on nothing but gut, hope and mindless optimism.

What probably happened is that someone realised they should really release something for their other system.

The original rumor had DrewCarry and Harlequin both dropping in April.

Which is fine.

Hyping up the release literally months before it's going to happen is cause for disappointment, however.

So, here's the original rumours...it's not very accurate, I think. The large release for Aelfs is two months early, no mention of Necrons next month, February might of well have not existed. Either these are false, or something went wonky internally in GW, so these are no longer accurate.
