Today my Archon killed...

Took Lelith for the first time tonight,
on 4th turn i charged her + bunch of wyches into a large 'ard boyz squad.
Their max ws is 4 so Lelith got 4+1+1+5=11 attacks.
Hits with 8 and to wound rolls was all 1 2 3's. Game ended that turn

He also had a hand in the deaths of three squads of Imperial Guard Veterans.

Mine managed to catch a bunch of shooting rounds in the chest head and groin area. Other then that, he lloked great on the table, the first 3 turns anyway.

The Archon had two pain tokens meaning that he could wound it on a six the turn he charged (due to furious charge).  Combat drugs allowed for re-rolls to wound in close combat (of which he wounded twice needing sixes) and one of the invulnerable saves was failed.  He was base strength six afterwards however.  XD

Combat drugs are awesome aren't they? I see a lot of builds running soultraps but I have never had the chance to use one and then get into ANOTHER combat.

he and his crew ate one 'ard boys squad with power claw nob, and then a challenge with the warboss and all his nobs wich got a flesh gauntlet in his face despite being in a 2+

Um that is still not enough to wound a Wraithknight (i.e., s4 v t8).

My Archon failed to kill something in 2 games, both against Daemon players - yes, different guys.

However, what he did accomplish, in BOTH games, was tying up a soul grinder from round 2 through the end of the game.

The clone field is simply AWESOME.  I just wish I could have actually pen'd the soul grinders with haywire but the 6's were very elusive; I suspect some tampering by Tzeentch.

Over the weekend my archite killed 4 sternguard 5 scouts, and blew up a drop pod (hey it was a kill point game). Killed 20 slaanesh daemonettes. 15 immortals, and three crisis suits. Eighty-five points has never tasted sooo good.

My Haemonculus got taken out for a spin with his Power Sword and Splinter Pistol; 7 Fire Warriors, 2 Gun Drones, a Crisis Suit, and he would have swept/run off the table a unit with Shadowsun, Commander, 2 more Crisis Suits and 2 Gun Drones if they hadn't passed their bloody hit & run to avoid having to deal with the results of them losing combat...

Archon is next in line to make Tau bone-powder bread.

My archon and his incubi got stuck into a ridiculous game where both armies focused almost entirely on cc,
Killed a unit of five plague marines, got charged by three nurglings in the chaos turn, booshed them, then ran across the board and got into a ruck with an obliterator and two chaos spawn, rolled poorly so the combat lasted for three turns, by the end, another oblit, 3 spawn, 3 plague bearers and Be'lakor had all joined in, and my unit of 3 grots, aberration, ancient and haemonculus had piled in as well, the grots and Haemonc killed the spawn before being hammered by belakor. Only thing left in the end was the archon squaring off against belakor!
We ended at that point, safe in the knowledge that the two ridiculous lists wouldn't see the light of day again, as the game took ages!!!

Sounded like lots of fun was had tho!

Over the weekend, my Haemi cleaned house over the course of 3 1250pt games. He killed 10 guardsmen, a commisar, 5 chaos marines, a warpsmith, 4 Immortals, 2 Wraiths, and 5 Deathmarks. He just could not fail his feel no pain save...

And then at S10 he was just loling his way through some plague marines when the game ended with my victory!

Ps. Thanks mushkilla for the reaver advices. The Scouring couldn't have been an easier mission.

Well He didn't kill it but sure made it run. My Archon and his entourage put 8 HPs on an Ork Stompa on the charge. Scared the Stompa so bad the weird boy inside teleported the Stompa to the other side of the board.

Archon (hb, sf, vb) with 4 Grotesques in a one+three game tournament last weekend killed total of one statue (special mission), 4 csm and 8 plague bearers. First game was 500pts so grots were not with him and he didn't kill anything. The rest were 1500 and they managed to kill their first charge and then they were out of the game eather dead by shooting or too far away.

Archon (Shadowfield, Huskblade, Soul Trap, Combat Drugs) in a unit with 3 Grots. Archon killed Centurion Sergeant, Centurion in one squad. 2 Marines in a squad and 3 Marines in another.

in 5 games @ 750 points... drum roll... not much. a few marines, some long fangs, tied up a destroyer lord for a few turns, vaporised by some riptides, (yeah two riptides in a 750 tournament, no imperial knights tho, expected one) and a few daemons. ok I suppose for a bare succubus with venom blade, but not really the investment I was hoping for.

Don't feel bad. My succubus with power lance only managed to kill one space wolf because he missed with 5 attacks on the charge. because of that failure the rest of the squad got trounced, and he died the next turn.

My archon killed a daemon prince (really, he survived the daemon prince and the daemon weapon killed himself after a couple turns), but I was more impressed by my new favorite squad of 5 kabalite last game.

I was trying to have a friendly game to teach a new player the basics, I shot my 5 man squad at his chaos lord in terminator armor and got 3 wounds. I told him he should probably keep them on the lord instead of look out sirs because he wouldn't lose some of his chosen that way and the lord could take the hits better. He rolled all 3 1's, it was a 1/216 chance and I honestly just felt bad after but I silently cheered the hell out of those warriors.

Today I had one Haywire wych squad take out a Vindicator, a predator, and a storm raven. I'd say my opponent underestimated what 5 wyches can do! Mwahahaha.

My question ED is why did your opponent hover the storm raven anywhere near those wytches? Bet they regretted that afterwards lol.

He was in a rock and a hard place. It was either get assaulted by wyches... more wyches... my grotesques and succubus with haywire and furious charge(what he should have chose) or go into ongoing reserves on turn 5. But the fact that one 60 point squad took out 350-400 points made me giddy. He did try to take them out, but they had to crawl onto the wreckage of the vindicator to assault the predator, so they got a cover save from that. It was pretty funny.
