Fire magnet, he draws a huge amount of fire compared to how cheap he is, and my list is built are three haemis in wych squads, I don't need more than that.

Today Lady Malys killed:- 1 Grey Knight Librarian, 5 Grey Knight Terminators and an Eversor Assassin.
She charged the grey knights with a squad of wyches and proceeded to do nothing, the Eversor charged in and murdered the remaining wyches. Malys then hit and wounded everyone in the combat killing the normal termies, next turn survived everything and despatched the remaining models.

This one time at kill camp my archon killed 4 grey hunters and Logan Grimnar (with 2 wounds left).

He destroyed the transport and the incubi bodyguard before I could charge him. The archon charged the squad by himself and killed all the grey hunters. Logan Grimnar only got 2 hits and they bounced off the shadowfield. He then lost his remaining wounds to no retreat.

One complete Farseer council of five models(1Farseer with 4 Warlocks ugh how I loathe them but at least not on jetbikes). He didn't kill anything else but points-wise I earned back a lot more than I had to invest in my Archon. It's also the one Eldar unit I have trouble dealing with so I was quite excited to get them out of the way.

First post, but I had a rather enjoyable game last night in which I ran Duke Sliscus. I deployed the Duke with a 9-man kabalite warrior squad in a raider with splinter racks. On the second turn, the raider is in rapid fire range of a C'Tan shard, and I unload everything into the shard, and at the end of the fusillade of fire that C'Tan is dead. The very next turn, turn three, the raider moves 6" to the left, and fires at another C'Tan shard. That shard also falls. On turn four, I move the raider 12" and disembark the Duke. He assaults into a squad of Immortals and proceeds to take out several Immortals and stays locked in close combat for the rest of the game never taking a wound. I'm really enjoying running the Duke with a warrior squad to begin and then sticking him in close combat later in the game.

Had a game against another dark eldar player and my archon FAILED miserably, killed one wych and then he and my syrabite lost combat and died to a single wych. My opponent passed so many dodge saves it was unbelievable.

In my last game, my archon killed four Black Templars with one round of attacks. Yes, that is an impressive tally for him. Which was why I replaced the model; the new one was able to do that, rather than fail to wound with every attack.

This was a while ago, but my Archon, on my enemie's final shooting stage, got plasma cannoned, and epically. He was stood with a Warrior squad, holding an objective thatwould have won me the game.
He had a Shadowfield, so I figured I would try to take saves on him.

In place of his body was a slag heap, all the remains:


Luckily, he soaked up enough wounds to leave the two surviving Warriors on the point, suffering from serious burns and crispy armour.

Last game, my first try at a DE deathstar killed 3 Chimeras, 1 Infantry squad, 2 Veteran squads and a Hydra Tank. During this time it took 2 wounds on the Liquifier, and 1 Grotesque died. Crazy.

My deathstar was:
Archon, Drugs (didn't need em, won't take em next time), Agoniser, PGL, SF (145)
Haemonculus, Liquifier, Scissorhand (75)
4 Grotesques, Liquifier (150)
Raider, Flickerfield (70)

So for a total of 440 points, I took out 480 points of Guard and drew fire from a good amount of the army. So the unit earned its points back, and also served as a very good fire magnet. Besides, 16 S6 attacks, 4 S4 attacks and 6 S4 Agoniser attacks on the charge, plus two Liquifiers is a force to be reckoned with.

Last week my "Archon" (actually a Succubus) and her posse of Wyches killed:

1 squad of assault terminators with Librarian
3 Squads of Scouts

I should note that the terminators, Librarian, and one squad of scouts all died on the charge in one multi-assault. By the end of that game, the Squad had seven pain token (including combat drugs).

A week previous, the same posse had gladiators showed an Inquisitor, his henchmen, and his Grey Knight goons the meaning of pain.

Last week Urien (I do not use Archons much lately) and a squad of Grotesques and an Ancient Haemy charged a squad of 6 Wraiths that were just finishing a disemboweling of a Haemy after it had activated a portal. Urien's charged managed to wipe out the Wraiths in one phase which left them open to be charged by a squad of Lych Guard led by an ambitious young Necron Lord.

Needless to say the Lych Guard wiped out the Grotesques and Ancient but Urien's clone field left him unscathed. After taking a wound from combat resolution. Urien's favorite pet, "Nummy Muffin CoCo Butter", came bounding in to tip the scales to its masters favor. The Talos managed to kill 5 Lych Guard coupled by Urien's clonefield fooling all 3 hits against him was enough to change the tide. The Lych Guard lost combat resolution horribly, lost morale and then were "swept" by Urien giving him his 5th pain token.

The young Necron Lord came back to life and retreated towards a large warrior group on the other side of the battle field while Urien took advantage of some nearby cover. The warriors did not join the necron lord and thus with the relentless rule fired at Urien in cover putting 2 wounds on him (thankfully Urien regenerated back to full health last turn). Urien, not wanting such a delicious morsel to get away (wanting to give Muffin a new chew toy), decided to run down the young lord with a lucky move through cover roll where the two were caught in close combat until the end of the game (two full turns of doing nothing to each other).

The Prophets of Flesh were victorious in claiming 3 objectives to the Necron's 1 - kudos to Urien, "Muffin" and the rest of the Coven.

My Archon killed a Wolf Lord who has gone undefeated for a half a dozen battles. This Wolf Lord was a minor legend in my gaming group. He's known for passing a ridiculous amount of 4+ wards (His Belt of Russ is like... really Russ's belt) and has torn and shredded his way through a Necron army almost all by himself in one battle. C'tan, Talos pain engines, Necron Overlords, Incubi, Terminators, none could match the Wolf Lord's fury.

In my last game my archon and his Grotesque bodyguard assaulted a pack of Grey Hunters in a forest, but the damn wolves held me up long enough for the Wolf Lord (whom I was trying to avoid) to catch me. My Archon bravely got the short end of the stick in several combat rounds until my Succubus and her wyches arrived to turn the battle. The Succubus stripped away the Wolf Lord's luck and first two wounds with her agoniser and the Archon courageously stepped in to stab the Son of Russ in the back whilst he was distracted, and finished him off in true dark eldar style.

Archon Du Couteau today killed 8 Tac Marines, 4 Termies and a Spacewolf Wolfrider HQ - duno the name, and dont realy care, tropy on the lead raiders ornament.

A while back St. Celestine charged Urien and Grot squad and she bitch slapped him and Grots something fierce - congrats on killing her, I gave up the idea of killing her when I found out she can come in any of the following turns (I still won the game but I had to avoid her which was the trick).

Last night Urien and the Grot squad took out 2, 11 man chaos marine squads (with a wound on each grot but urien unhurt at all) and then charged a 6 man Terminator squad with the Chaos Lord. Urien struck simultaneous with the Warsmith (Iron Warriors theme) however Urien's Ichor gauntlet found the mark against the terminator armor while again, his clone field fooled all 3 of his hits against him.

Sure, Urien's Ichor Gauntlet isn't powered but there is something very demoralizing for your opponent when you not only roll the "1" that gets your terminator lord killed but fail to land a single hit with your twin lightning claws unable to wound Urien's 6+ armor save. Absolutely a Dark Eldarish way to torment your opponent.

*Note:

Nummy Muffin CoCo Butter (Muffin), Snowflake and Puff Puff only managed to kill a defiler and a chaos marine squad but they did manage to soak serious fire for 2.5 turns, a tough game to be a meat shield but they served their master well for a well deserved win.

Today Vect teamed up with a Haemun coven to launch a sneak attack onto a ork world. The unsuspecting ork fools fell to Vects uncanny deployment tactics, failing to realize what was happening and giving the haemun the opportunity they needed to set up their webway assault.

Vect waited, observing for his chance to strike, and after hours of fighting he entered the battlefield with his bloodbride concubines. He set his sights for one of the big meks treasured Battlewagons. Sprinting across the battlefield he and his concubines lobbed their haywire grenades, striking vital points on the wagon and detonating its engine. As the big mek spilled out, all the nearby ork forces focused their fire on Vect and his squad in an attempt to protect their leader. The bloodbrides ducked behind cover, however Lord Vect stood in the open, rounds ricocheting from his shadowfield. The big mek, enraged, ran headlong toward Vect and his concubines, followed closely by a nob and his boyz. Delighted, Vect and his ladies loosed their weapons, striking out at the incoming horde, killing as much as half of the troupe before the incoming orks realized what was happening. The feeble ork force counter-attacked, the nob targeting Vect with his inferior power weapon, meanwhile the bloodbride concubines nimbly stepped past all of the lesser orks attacks, laughing as weapons fell where they stood only seconds before. After bouncing off the shadowfield, the big mek realized the danger he was in, and ran in terror. Vect quickly persued the retreating orks, butchering them in their attempt to escape.

(On turn 5 vect came in from a WWP, moved 6, scored a 5 on the run roll, and a 5 on the assault through cover roll. Hit a battlewagon with 6 haywire grenades getting 2 pens and 3 glances. Scored a vehicle explodes on one of the pen rolls (and lost 2 BB's in the explosion). Next round the squad stood up to fire from a deff dread with 2 big shootas, 2 big shootas from a second battlewagon, a shokk attack gun shot, and shootas from 17 boyz, suffering only 2 casualties. The ork squad from the exploded battlewagon forgoes shooting and launches into an assault. Vect wounds the squads nob, and the big mek, and destroys 3 boyz, while his concubine squad kills another 5 boys. The ork counter-assault resulted in a hit against each BB and a powerklaw against vect himself. The powerclaw failed to bypass vects shadowfield, while the bloodbrides dodged all of the attacks that were thrown at them. Losing assault by a rather nasty 10, the orks failed their leadership check miserably, and failed to equal vects initiative roll of 12 to flee the battle, and were cut down while fleeing.)

Archoness Drea killed a Shas'el and his bodyguard, a squad of xv8 battlesuits, a squad of fire warriors and almost had chance to kill a broadside battlesuit...but a disintegrator finished it of faster.

Somewhat unique experience, Archon Yllithian today killed St Celestine 3 times in the same game, which provoked lively debate as to whether I could trap her soul more than once.

He also accounted for a pair of penitent engines, and 4 assault sisters.

Take that Celestine, you Pious Tart!
