Today my Archon killed...

My archon with a 3 man grot shield managed to get stuck in assault with a 10 man grey hunter squad and then the rune priest and his terminators. Though long fangs claimed his raider. Archon still seized the day slaughtering 7 of the 10 Grey hunters. And huskblading/soultrapping the rune priest when they charged in on me. Grotesques died to the terminators but lasted long enough for my archon to claim the entire squad. The space wolf rolled 1's and 2's for his invuls. Somehow through fate or design his shadowfield failed vs a lascannon shot.

My archon and his five incubi slaughtered 12 Orc boys before moving on and killing a Orc war boss with armour and law and his 10 boy retinue, winning the kill point mission with the kill,,,

Nurgle Biker Lord, with 4 Spawn; the Venoms whittled them down to 2 Spawn before Ivana stepped from her Raider, her pack of four Wolves slavering around her as she strode across the arena floor.
A wave of cultists ran forward, to save their Lord from shooting, and she coolly shot one in the face.

The spawn and the foul Lord charged in, him screaming a direct challenge at her. with a delicate smile, she slid her Huskblade from its scabbard...

One,two, one, two, and through and through,
The Vorpal Blade went snicker-snack!
2 wounds (extra pain token from Lady Sliscus' pharmaceutical pre-battle buffet), 1 failed 4++...Good night, foul Lord!

The wolves (Grotesque proxies) finished the Spawn, the cultists did nothing, they ran, they failed their escape, Ivana felt the surge as her SoulTrap slammed shut, and the wolves ate well that night!

TL:DR...1 Chaos Biker Lord with Spawn retinue and cultist overwatch screen!

Fully kitted out Archon nailed 5 TAC marines with the help of Wrack retinue
Lelith pasted 5 TAC marines, 3 Deathwing Terminators all by her lonesome.

AND THEN A UNIT OF 10 MANDRAKES WIPED A 5-MAN LEGION OF THE DAMNED SQUAD BEFORE TYING UP 6 BIKES IN COMBAT FOR 2 GAME TURNS!

Somebody got put in their place...

My archon huskbladed a riptard, soul trap activated didn't see anymore combat

I often just use this thread to display amazing feats that don't necessarily involve my archon, that being said:

My reaver jetbikes that only had one heat lance left rolled s six to hit when he was over watching an imperial knight. He proceeded to roll an 11 to pen, and the knight rolled a 2 for his invul. The imperial knight, on!y having one wound left proceeded to explode, taking out a nearby squad of paladins.

My haemonculus then proceeded to open his crucible malediction, driving draigo and a paladin in his squad even more insane. Then a grot rolled 1 ap on his liquifier. Twas glorious.

They might not be the most competitive choice, but man does an archon with 4 incubi hand the ass to nearly everyone!!!

I made my first ever match with dark eldar against Astra Militarium with lots of count as miniatures in a 1000 pts game. My archon died horribly by failing its first shadowfield save roll:)

But i nearly tabled my opponent with only his psyker and commander alive at the end of 5th turn.

Glory for the Commoragh! My haemonoculi already tries to ressurrect the archon.

Also the man of the match was blasterborn squad killing the mon-keigh with nearly every shot

Last time my Archon killed a Necron Overlord. Three times, that is. Then the Overlord hit me once,
so my Archon got killed in the instant. Rolled a 1 for my shadow field. First time in this game...

Last Friday, my "soul trap HuskBlade" Archon + Klaivex + 7 incubi killed one riptide, 5 marines and a whirlwind... before being dispersed through the infinite universe by a Broadside unit.

16 kroot(swept), an ethereal(turn 2, this gave him S6)
3 crisis suits with dual burst cannons(swept) and a commander(S10)
Longstrike
A riptide
Then he failed his shadowfield to an overwatching missile pod and died, stupid broadsides

This Saturday - Lady Malys and her 6 pack grotesque pack, killed a 10 man Tactical Squad, Droppod and Land Speeder. Fun stuff.

Today my archon killed a space marine captain in termi armour. I love the husk blade.

Technically not an archon but a lone wych with +1 strength, hydra gauntlets and furious charge managed to kill farsight and his last body guard and claimed the objective. The look of disbelief on my mates face was priceless!

I think, I was surprised even more, than my opponent, but they really did it.
